Well many of Pertile's ideas miserabily failed already... Part of ski jumping's charm is a short season, and then agonizingly long wait for the next one...lets hope it doesn't turn into F1 with so many races. Maybe after reconstruction Courchevel could become like a permanent venue in winter...

Also, the idea is to use qualification results as a base for start list...like in 4hills. First period of World Cup on hybrids will take part in October i guess...so Engelberg is safe :)

Vikersund were offered Thursday / Friday termin for Ladies competitions, but they refused. Hinzenbach pulled out for financial reasons. It is planned from season 2028/29 that the entire first period of World Cup will be organized as hybrid competitions.

During FIS meeting yesterday it was confirmed that Okurayama will undergo reconstruction from April 2027 to December 2028, so it should be ready for World Cup season 2028/29. New parameters will be K-125 / HS-140. Any chance for Hakuba to be included in World Cup 2027/28? Where will domestic...
