Wer - wie ich - alle Beatles-Lps im Schrank hat und sie als Cds nachgekauft hat, wird wie ich enttäuscht sein. Im Vergleich zum neu gemasterten Katalog anderer Bands nimmt sich die Quali eher bescheiden aus - und das bei der wohl grössten Popband aller Zeiten.
Aber da gibt's ne prima Abhilfe:
Wer RICHTIG gute digitalisierte Beatles-Alben sucht, sollte mal auf das onehin grossartige Forum http://www.skafunkrastapunk.com gehen. Da gibt es die wirklich tollen Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Versionen von Dr Ebberts.

So essentially all of these are NOT commercially available in this form. The fidelity is much better, the packaging was made to replicate the original 60's vinyl. As any Beatle collector knows, these titles are essentially THE holy grail for Beatles fans.

Und das stimmt wirklich: die Quali ist phänomenal. NOTE: man sollte natürlich Alben KAUFEN (!). Aber wenn man schon a)die Lps und b)die Cds erworben hat - dann noch auf die vielleicht irgendwann mal erscheinenden MFSL-Cds von Apple/Columbia warten? Irgendwann reicht's, das wären dann insgesamt knapp 50 Euro pro Album...
Ist natürlich nur für echte Fans, für den Normalhörer reichen sicher auch die normalen Cd-Versionen - and please support the bands you like. Nicht "nur" saugen, das ist unfair.
