Bulls' Rose leaves with left side injury

Rose
Bulls rookie Derrick Rose, who was 6-of-6 shooting in the fourth quarter, left the game with just over a minute left with an injury to his left side.
He had an icepack on his hip/abdominal area, but was in obvious pain. He blew up in the second half and finished with 25 points and five assists on 12-of-19 shooting. The good news is he didn't go to the locker room, but if it's abdominal strain, he could miss some games. We'll have an update on Saturday, but you'll want to grab Larry Hughes if we find out the injury will keep him out for any games. Nov. 22 - 12:57 am et

Kevin Martin-G- Kings Nov. 22 - 9:48 am et
Kevin Martin's sprained ankle is nearly healed but now he has developed swelling in his Achilles tendon. An MRI on Tuesday revealed no torn ligaments, but there is still no timetable for his return.

"The ankle is fine," Martin said. "It's the tendon behind it...Nothing is torn, just a lot of fluid in there and it's deep. It's very frustrating." We're sure his owners couldn't agree more.

Carlos Boozer-F/C- Jazz Nov. 22 - 9:42 am et
Carlos Boozer is expected to miss another seven-to-ten days with a strained left quad and a bone bruise, though no official timetable has been set.

Boozer is wearing a removable cast and undergoing five rounds of treatment every day. It sounds like the absolute earliest he could return is next Wednesday. We should have updates soon, but start thinking about alternatives for next week.

Kevin Martin:

Kevin Martin (sprained ankle) appears to be getting close to a return.
The Kings shooting guard tested his ankle on Monday by shooting pull-up jumpers and running off screens, and reported a small amount of pain, but said, "I can play through a little pain." Added coach Reggie Theus, "he's not that far out." Nothing is official yet, but it sounds like there's a solid chance we'll see Martin before the week is out.
Kevin Durant:

New Thunder coach Scott Brooks has shifted Kevin Durant from shooting guard to his more natural position of small forward.
The move worked on Saturday as Durant scored 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting, and we're expecting a nice spike in numbers under the new regime.
Klingt beides mal zumindest hoffnungsvoll.

Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony left during the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Rockets due to a bruised right elbow, and scored 2 points with three rebounds, three assists, and had one block. This elbow injury has been nagging him, and x-rays were taken back on November 23rd that came back negative. This is a long time for him to have this problem with no discernable evidence as to why it's hurting him, but we imagine the situation will be addressed real quick.

Tracy McGrady

Tracy McGrady, who will miss Sunday's game, will see Dr. James Andrews in Alabama on Monday regarding his surgically repaired knee. "I think it’s a smart decision," McGrady said. "I’m just not ready to play. With the limping and everything, I’m not healthy enough to play anymore." Rockets doctors think the best plan is for him to continue to play, but McGrady would obviously like to come up with a different game plan. Stay tuned.

Kings guard Kevin Martin is targeting Tuesday's game for his return after missing the past 12 games with an ankle injury

Jermaine O'Neal (ankle) intends to return against the Nuggets on Tuesday, according to Raptors television commentator Leo Rautins.
O'Neal reportedly could have played against the Lakers on Sunday, but decided to rest an extra game as a precaution.

Elton Brand had just three points and five rebounds before leaving Wednesday's loss to the Lakers with a strained right hamstring.
Brand didn’t play the final 16 minutes and he will be re-evaluated Thursday. Consider him day-to-day for now and cross your fingers if you own him. Theo Ratliff will get extra minutes if the injury is serious, but is still probably not worth a roster spot in your league. Dec. 4 - 12:08 am et

Und deswegen ist er jetzt weg. :wavey:

Latest News:
Mike Miller will be a game-time decision Friday due to a sprained right ankle. Miller stuck around after shootaround and shot three-pointers, adding that he'd like to play. "If it was up to me, I’d be playing tonight," Miller said. "At the same time, I got to be smart. We’ve got 82 games." Our guess is that Miller misses two or three games with the injury if he doesn't go tonight. Hopefully we'll know something well before game time.
