100 Filme der 00er für die Ewigkeit - Das Ergebnis

[Furiosa]

In den 59 abgegebenen Listen wurden 537 verschiedene Filme genannt. 274 davon mindestens doppelt. Ungültig waren alle Filme, die nicht im fraglichen Zeitraum veröffentlicht wurden sowie eine unzulässige Zusammenfassung der Herr der Ringe Trilogie.

Präsentiert werden die Top 200, 41 Punkte mussten dafür erreicht werden. Insgesamt 5 Filme haben es trotz dreifacher Nominierung nicht in diesen Kreis geschafft. Die Plätze 201 - 537 werden später nachgereicht.
Hinter dem Link zum Filmtitel verbirgt sich, sofern auffindbar, ein Clip aus dem jeweiligen Streifen. Auch wenn nie wirklich viel verraten wird besteht eine kleine Rest-Spoiler-Gefar natürlich immer.


Die jeweilige Platzierung erfolgte nach folgenden Kriterien:

Its unmistakable passion is all the more surprising coming from Guy Ritchie, whose previous work (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch) seemed to me nothing more than hollow macho shtick. Does Luc Besson's presence in the script have anything to do with it? No matter, there is a newfound weight to the posing here, especially as embodied by Jason Stratham, as spiky and concentrated as Lee Marvin in Point Blank. Stratham is out to take revenge on the Las Vegas casino boss (Ray Liotta) who sent him to prison for seven years, but the film's assorted impromptu halos and chess-playing guardians (Vincent Pastore, André Benjamin) hint at deeper things at stake than gangland bluster. Scenes are played out and rewound, contemplation of life and death stands side by side with a cartoon version of an apoplectic Liotta, even Deepak Chopra pops up for a mock-explanation -- it's an unwieldy, short-circuiting film, packing "more tricks than a clown's pocket" yet imbued with brute spiritual force. Mit einem Blowjob soll er Reyeb (Hitchem Yacoubi) locken, um dann eine zwischen den Zähnen verborgene Rasierklinge in dessen Hals zu schlagen - nachdem er sich mit seiner Tatwaffe bereits im Probedurchgang den Rachen blutig geschnitten hat. Doch der Todeskandidat wittert Lunte und es kommt zu einem qualvollen Gerangel. In der virtuos bebilderten Daseinsparabel vereint sich ein Stück Eskapismus mit einer Meditation, die fast ohne Dialoge auf den erzählerischen Gehalt der Aufnahmen setzt und eine seltene emotionale Dichte erzeugt. Generell erreicht Ki-Duk sehr gut, was er beabsichtigt: Auf einem Strom der Bilder, in der Balance von Landschaftsbildern und Stimmungen, entwickelt diese Jahreszeiten- und Lebensalterallegorie eine magische Anziehungskraft und Ruhe, wie man sie im Kino fast nicht mehr für möglich gehalten hätte. Hui, auf eine Top200 bin ich ja mal gespannt. Dass jemand Night at the Musuem auf Platz 5 hat, finde ich ja schon mal krass Und Munich auf Platz 197 ist auch ein kleiner Skandal. (hatte ich scheinbar am weitesten oben eingeordnet) Na ja, schon mal 2 meiner Top 30 sind dabei, dazu noch 2, die es knapp nicht geschafft haben.

Night at the Museum mit einer bedenklichen Höchstplatzierung. Brick habe ich leider noch nicht gesehen, aber alles spricht dafür, dass er es in meine Liste geschafft hätte.

Da im anderen Thread Mango die Idee dazu hatte: noch bin ich bei perfekten 100%, sprich: ich habe jeden bisher erwähnten Film gesehen.

Ich hatte ihn damals sogar im Kino gesehen und war hin und weg. Phone Booth ist aber so ein Film den ich mir nur einmal anschauen kann, von daher war er bei mir nicht mal in der engeren Auswahl.

Das ist bis jetzt der einzige Film, der auch in meiner Liste vertreten ist.
Um genau zu sein, steht der bei mir sogar auf Platz zehn.

Als großer Fan des Originals und normalerweise Gegner von Remakes, hat mir die Version von Zack Snyder ziemlich gut gefallen. Er hat damit das Zombie-Genre eine Neuauffrischung verpasst und Gott sei Dank, George A. Romeros-Klassiker nicht einfach 1:1 kopiert.

Wäre sicher in den top 15 gelandet... die szene in der er dem mädl whole wide world auf der gitarre vorspielt gehört zu den rührensten szenen die ich je gesehen habe.
