Die Colts sind für mich in diesem Jahr auch ne Wundertüte. Viel hängt sicher an Richardson. Wenn er gesund bleibt, dann könnte richtig was gehen.
Im Draft hat man viel in die Offense adressiert, was mir gut gefallen hat. Das Team hat auf dem Blatt eigentlich keine echte Schwäche. In das Prunkstück O-Line hat man im Draft auch nochmal schön investiert, auch wenn das wohl mit Bortolini und Goncalves eher Spieler für die nächsten Jahre sind. Mit Latu könnte man einen Elite Passrusher gedraftet haben, aber da gab es vor dem Draft ja viele Bedenken bzgl. seiner Neck Injuries.
Sollte das alles ok sein, sind die Colts für mich ein echtes Darkhorse und könnten sich mit den Texans einen schönen Battle um die Division geben.
Schlägt Latu ein und bleibt Richardson gesund, sehe ich 10 eher 11 Siege in diesem Jahr.

Die Fans sehen die D-Line der Colts das Spiel nachhause bringen. Ich freue mich darauf seit dem Abgang von Manning, wieder ein Spiel der Colts in voller länge mit zu verfolgen.

Das Groundgame der Colts wird auch gegen die Packers wieder zum Tragen kommen. Die Rusher der Colts dürften gegen einen der schwächsten QB der NFL mit Malik Willis keine Probleme haben. Vieleicht stellen die Colts ihre D-Line sogar auf einen wehementes blitzen ein, um Willis nervös zu machen und das Offensivgame der Packers aus dem Konzept zu bringen.

Das war eine sehr verdiente Niederlage der Colts, die zu keiner Zeit das Laufspiel der Packers unterkontrolle hatten. Zudem hat sich Richardson zu viele Rookiefehler im Spielaufbau geleistet, während Malik Willis weit über sich hinausgewachsen ist.

Fanbase Predictions:

Bei den Bears steht Caleb Williams der QB der Bears unter Druck, den beiweis seiner Klasse schuldig zu sein. Sein fehlerbehaftetes Passpiel, ist eine große Chance für das Passrushing der Colts. Die LB und die Secondary der Colts haben hier die Möglichkeit das Game zu kontrollieren. Auch der QB der Colts , Anthony Richardson, ist z.Zt. nicht auf der Höhe des Spiels und macht in seiner zweiten Saison als Starting QB enorm viele Fehler im Passpiel. Trifft falsche Entscheidungen und wirft oft daneben. Auch die Guard und der Center Colts werden hart arbeiten müssen um ihren QB vor den bockstarcken DT und LB der Bears, in der Pocket, zu beschützen. Bei beiden Teams ist das Runninggame noch nicht Spielbestimmend und dürfte auch dieses mal eher eine sekundäre Rolle spielen.

Nach dem Sieg letzte Woche gegen die Bears, ist die negativ Serie erstmal gestoppt worden. Die große Schwäche der Colts bleibt noch immer ihr viel zu ungenauer QB Anthony Richardson. Auch dieses mal ist die D-Line der Colts gefordert, um mit ihrem riegerosen Pass rushing, die Steelers O-Line um QB Justin Fields an der Spieleröffnung zu hindern. Diese haben einige wichtige verletzte Spieler für ihr Runninggame, wie die RB' s Harris und Warren und werden vermutlich viele Bälle in der Luft spielen.

Fanbase Predictions:

Die Colts bekommen es in Woche fünf mit den Jaguars und ihrer 0-4 Bilanz zu tun. Die O-Line der Jags um QB Trevor Lawrence, WR's Brian Thomas und Christian Kirk Jr. sowie RB Travis Etienne gehören zu den schwächsten der Liga. Weil die Jaguars keinen allzu gutes Runninggame besitzen und sich auf ihr Passspiel verlassen müssen, dürfte die D-Line der Colts um LB E.J. Speed, Safety Nick Cross, LB Zaire Franklin sowie CB Jaylon Jones, ihre Offensive im Griff haben. Colts Wundertüte Anthony Richardson, darf nach überstandener Verletzungen wieder als starting QB auflaufen und muss gegen die dritt schwächste D-Line der Liga den Beweis seiner sicherlich vorhandenen Fähigkeiten antreten. Ansonsten gäbe es noch einen Joe Flacco und sein Joker- Mojo. Der Fakt das die Colts keines der letzten vier Spiele gegen die Jags gewinnen konnten, dürfte der Truppe aus Florida zusätzlichen Aufschwung verleihen.
