Yi Jianlian injures knee, to undergo MRI

Jianlian
Nets forward Yi Jianlian left Monday's game after injuring the MCL in his right knee. He did not return and will have an MRI on Tuesday.
This is a loss the reeling Nets --already missing Devin Harris (groin)-- couldn't afford. Everyone will have to pitch in, but guys like Josh Boone, Eduardo Najera and Sean Williams could pick up extra minutes if Yi misses any games. Nov. 2 - 8:53 pm et

Also bei CBSSports,ESPN und Rotoworld steht nichts zu CDR. Denke mal, dass er spielen wird.

Bei CBS steht für Rondo: Probable for Nov. 3 at Philadelphia (ankle). panik:

"Andrew Bynum had 17 points and 17 rebounds on Wednesday, but he may have sprained his elbow on the last play of the game. He intends to have an MRI on Thursday."

Kings' Nocioni arrested on suspicion of DUI

Posted Nov 5 2009 1:05PM

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Sacramento Kings forward Andres Nocioni has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Nocioni was booked into the Sacramento County jail at 3:26 a.m. PST Thursday. Sacramento police Sgt. Norm Leong says Nocioni was pulled over around 2 a.m. in downtown Sacramento when an officer noticed his car weaving.

The officer noticed an odor of alcohol and conducted a field test before booking Nocioni on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The arrest came hours after the Kings lost a home game to the Atlanta Hawks, 113-105, on Wednesday night.

The Kings did not have any immediate comment.

Damit wird wohl entweder Casspi oder Udoka auf SF starten!

Kevin Martin (wie immer :wall:)
Kevin Martin said Thursday that he will sleep on a decision whether or not to have surgery on his broken left wrist, or simply put it in a cast, or to try to play through it. Putting a cast on it would cost him anywhere from six to eight weeks, while surgery is a more certain bet to cost eight weeks. He played through the pain on Wednesday, and it appears the doctors are letting him call the shots, which is a good sign for his owners. That is, if there can be any good news with this situation.

Chris Douglas-Roberts
Chris Douglas-Roberts is not traveling with the Nets to Philadelphia for Friday's game against the 76ers as he struggles with flu-like symptoms. No word yet on whether or not he will play, but per league policy, he will need to remain quarantined for 24 hours, so consider him doubtful.

Yi Jianlian
Yi Jianlian said he expects to be out about 4 weeks - until late November - but left open the possibility of returning sooner, or later, than that. "They say maybe four weeks, but we have to see how it's going. Maybe earlier," Yi said Wednesday morning. The uncertainty surrounding Yi's return is discouraging, so feel free to make a move or cut him if it suits your team. Regardless, Yi will be out a while.

Devin Harris
Devin Harris said on Thursday that his original injury timetable was optimistic, and that he's likely to be out at least another two weeks, and maybe even four, with a strained groin. "It could take four weeks to heal," Harris said. "If I come back in two weeks and I still feel it, I’m going to take the next two weeks. We don’t have a date quite in mind."

Nate Robinson
X-rays on Nate Robinson's ankle came back negative, but he is still expected to miss up to two weeks. Robinson was still using crutches during an interview on Monday, but said that he's slowly improving.

Troy Murphy
Pacers coach Jim O’Brien doesn't know how long Troy Murphy (bruised lower back) will be out, but he said Murphy had trouble putting his shoes on Wednesday. That doesn't sound promising, and puts his status for Friday's game in doubt. After Friday's game the Pacers don't play until Wednesday, so it wouldn't be surprising if Murphy takes advantage of that opportunity for extended rest.

Michael Redd
Michael Redd will miss at least two weeks after he strained the patella tendon in his left knee. "It's not severe," Redd said. "Good news. I just aggravated an old knee injury I had a couple years ago...the MRI showed up pretty positive. I'll wait until the swelling goes down, and I'll be back out there playing. We knew that was in there from the (ACL) surgery, but we didn't touch it. They didn't clean that out." Redd is right --it could have been much worse-- but this doesn't help the reeling Bucks.

Mike Miller
Mike Miller is expected to miss 7-to-10 days after spraining his left shoulder on Tuesday, according to coach Flip Saunders. Miller left the game, had his shoulder bandaged, then returned and played a long stretch even though he could barely move his left arm. He crashed down onto the same shoulder while completing a three-point play, however, and was pulled out for good a minute later.

Andris Biedrins
Andris Biedrins missed practice Thursday after wrenching his back Wednesday night. No word yet on his status for Friday's game against the Clippers. We'll wait to see what the team says later on today.

Andrew Bynum
The Los Angeles Times is reporting on its Lakers Blog that Andrew Bynum (elbow) is going to miss Friday's game against the Grizzlies, as expected.

Vince Carter
Coach Stan Van Gundy does not expect to have Vince Carter (ankle) available to play on Friday against the Pistons. Carter reinjured the ankle on Tuesday, and Van Gundy is second-guessing himself on whether he should have played him. "We probably shouldn't have played him in Detroit, but Vince said he wanted to go," Van Gundy said.

Tayshaun Prince
Tayshaun Prince will sit out at least the next three games with a strained back. He will be reevaluated on Saturday. Coach John Kuester doesn't expect Prince or Rip Hamilton (ankle) to play later this week against the Raptors and the Magic, and Jonas Jerebko is slated to start at SF.

Richard Hamilton
Rip Hamilton is doubtful for Friday's game due to his lingering ankle injury, and is likely to miss more games, according to the Detroit News. He's already missed four straight games, and could be on the verge of missing more.

Chase Budinger
Chase Budinger has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers due to a sprained left ankle. Budinger is day-to-day.

Trevor Ariza left Thursday's practice with flu-like symptoms.
This immediately puts his availability for Friday's game into question, since if he has a fever the NBA will not allow him to play amidst concerns over the H1N1 virus.

Ist ja Einiges los gewesen, was Verletzungen angeht.

Tyrus Thomas
Tyrus Thomas will undergo surgery on Saturday to repair a fractured radius in his left forearm. Thomas injured his arm in a weightlifting accident Friday. He is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Courtney Lee panik:
Courtney Lee left Friday's game with a groin injury in the third quarter and didn't return. Groin injuries almost always result in multiple missed games, so consider Lee day-to-day for now. And if you can get him out of your lineup, do it.

Chris Douglas-Roberts :wall:
Chris Douglas-Roberts missed Friday's game with the flu. Trenton Hassell started in his place and is playing surprisingly well. Details to follow, but CDR is day-to-day for now.

Brandon Rush
Brandon Rush played just 15 minutes before leaving with a right ankle injury on Friday. He scored just two points. His lines are like a broken record, and we'd like to emphasize the word 'broken.' While we still think he'll get it turned around at some point, there is not much reason to wait for him, especially now that he's injured. There is surely a player with some value on your waiver wire that you can exchange him for right now.

Kenyon Martin
Kenyon Martin left Friday's game in the second quarter with what the team called a lower left leg contusion and could miss a couple weeks with the injury. George Karl said after the game that Martin will likely get further tests on Saturday. Get him on your bench ASAP, and watch for results of the tests over the weekend. It's been a bad 24 hours for guys named K-Mart.

Deron Williams
Deron Williams did not practice Friday morning, choosing instead to rest up his sore left shin and hip, both of which he injured Thursday against the Spurs. Despite missing practice, Williams said he would be ready to play Saturday against the Kings.

Ryan Anderson
Ryan Anderson left Friday's game with a sprained right ankle in the third quarter and did not return. He had 11 points and two threes in 19 minutes, and we're guessing he's day-to-day.

Update

Quelle: Rotoworld.com

Courtney Lee
Courtney Lee says his left groin strain isn't bad, but he may have to miss a game or two in order to rest the injury. "It’s not bad at all," he said. "Rest as much as possible. Go from day-to-day. It wasn’t a tear. They said it was a micro-tear below my groin. So it’s day-to-day. It’s minor through." He'll test the injury before Saturday's game and make a decision then.

Tony Parker
Tony Parker said after Friday's game he expects to miss a week with his left ankle injury. Parker missed nine games early last season after spraining the same ankle, and missed a month with the French national team during the summer with a similar injury to his right ankle. "This one is not even close," Parker said late Friday night. "It will be a week, maybe."

Eric Gordon:
Clippers guard Eric Gordon is doubtful to play in Monday's game because of a strained groin. If Gordon can't play, ClipsNation.com speculates that Al Thornton might start at SF, moving Rasual Butler to SG. The Clippers could also start Sebastian Telfair at PG (allowing a quicker defender against Chris Paul) and move Baron Davis to SG. Nothing is certain, but this would be a tough break for Gordon's owners -- let's just hope it doesn't linger.

Jameer Nelson
Jameer Nelson landed on Russell Westbrook’s foot after a 3-pointer Sunday night and slightly buckled his left knee. It sounds like he stayed on the floor and played through it, but it's something to keep in mind if you own him. Hopefully we'll have an update this afternoon.

Andris Biedrins
Warriors center Andris Biedrins could miss Monday's game after aggravating his back injury on Sunday. Backup center Ronny Turiaf is doubtful with a knee injury, leaving Mikki Moore and Anthony Randolph as the team's primary centers. We'll update Biedrins' status once more is known.

Eric Gordon (groin) out indefinitely

Gordon
Clippers guard Eric Gordon will not play in Monday's game because of a pulled left groin. There is no timetable for his return, but he is expected to visit a doctor on Tuesday.
"Won't put a timetable on it, we just need the kid to get 100%," said coach Mike Dunleavy. "A groin is one of those injuries that can be lingering." Fantasy owners have little choice but to sideline him until further notice. Without him in the lineup, Al Thornton started at SF and Rasual Butler moved to SG. Nov. 9 - 10:05 pm et

Arenas sits out practice with sore left calf

Arenas
Gilbert Arenas sat out Monday's practice with a sore left calf.
Not what owners wanted to hear on lineup Monday, but that's all the information we have. We assume it was simply as precaution and would still feel fairly comfortable starting him this week. Hopefully we'll have more infomation soon. Nov. 9 - 2:52 pm et
