I recently fell down a little rabbit hole into film history – silent films, sound films, color. I wondered what the very first film was, the first sound film, the first color film. It's really amazing how quickly everything has developed.
Have you ever seen really early films, like silent films or the first sound films? What did you think of them?
I mean, look at something like Nosferatu (1922) – yes, the facial expressions are kind of funny today
, but they had to exaggerate because there was no dialogue. They had to express everything through their bodies and their facial expressions. But the makeup, the eerie shadows… pretty impressive for 1922. That staircase scene in Nosferatu is still really creepy today.

And now there's AI. I was recently looking for music for the GP, and half of what I liked was just AI. The music was good, but it was kind of disappointing because I really wanted a real artist.
So I'm wondering where all this is headed with movies. Will we eventually have completely AI-generated films? Do they even exist already? To be honest, I haven't really looked into it.
And if so – is that a kind of cheating, as some say about AI music? Or is it simply the next step in film development?
