Hier die News:
Carlos Boozer will miss his first game of the season on Monday due to a knee injury suffered in Saturday's game against the Hornets.

"We won't know much [about when Boozer might return] until we do more tests," trainer Gary Briggs said. Boozer's left knee was still swollen on Sunday afternoon, when he had an MRI taken. Briggs would not comment on the results, so it's unknown how many more games, if any, Boozer might miss. With Anderi Kirilenko also possibly sidelined tonight, look for Paul Millsap to have a big game. Jan. 29 - 9:50 am et

gute und schlechte nachrichten!

Starting forward Carlos Boozer will not play on Monday night and his status is unknown for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Boozer bruised his left knee in Saturday's loss to the Hornets.

Boozer will undergo some more tests and Jarron Collins will start in his place tonight against the Nets. We're hopeful Boozer's injury isn't serious, but it's hard not to be concerned as more time passes without the Jazz giving any specific information.

Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko said his injured right ankle felt fine after Monday's shootaround and he expects to be in the starting lineup tonight when the Jazz host the Nets.

LeBron James sat out of an eight-minute scrimmage Monday and said he'll consider sitting out the next few games to rest his sore right toe, which he injured on a recent road trip and aggravated during Sunday's game against Phoenix.

James didn't run on the injury, but was able to shoot, stretch and even threw around a football. "Right now, it's an injury where you go out there and keep reinjuring it," he said. "You've got to be smart and it's something I've really got to think about. ... Long term, it would be smart if I took some games off and some practices off, honestly, to get better." It sounds like LeBron is going to sit out Tuesday's game against Golden State and possibly even Thursday's tilt against Dwyane Wade and the Heat panik:

wieso habe ich nur das gefühl, dass james und v.a. boozer in dieser woche extremst verkauft werden...:idiot:

Kobe Bryant has been suspended one game without pay for striking San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili in the face, the league announced Tuesday.

Steve Francis, currently rehabbing his knee, says he's just two weeks away from returning.

In THE TIMES-PICAYUNE, John Reid writes “after missing 17 consecutive games with a sprained right ankle, Hornets point guard Chris Paul is set to practice today, and he could be available to play Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers. For the past week, Paul has been participating in the team's shoot-around workouts and taking part in a few specific running drills. But today he is set to participate in an intrasquad scrimmage and go through all the practice drills.”

After pulling a muscle in his left calf during Monday's team practice, Shaquille O'Neal joined Dwyane Wade on the sidelines for the end of the session.

Whatever happened doesn't sound good. "Shaq came up lame early on in practice, (and) felt something pop in his calf," interim coach Ron Rothstein said. "We're not sure what the ramifications of that are going to be." It could be a complication of the knee injury that kept him out for two months, but either way, we cannot expect that he'll play tonight against Milwaukee. If the injury turns out to be serious, this will be an absolute waste of a fantasy season for O'Neal.

ohoh! gott sei dank war der deal noch nicht durch! panik:
