Heute Artikel kann man nicht ernst nehmen.
In keiner Hinsicht.
Ist nur ein sinnloses Gratis-Blatt in dem jedes zweite Wort gelogen ist.
Was aber bei diesem Artikel ohnehin nicht wichtig ist.
Ist zwar ein paar Minuten zu spät, wenns nach deutscher Zeit ginge, aber trotzdem muss mal wieder ein Tyson-Jubliäum gewürdigt werden: Heute ( 22.11.) vor 25 Jahren, vor einem Vierteljahrhundert wurde Mike Tyson Weltmeister im Schwergewicht: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJOZPzmIJ2w
Ex-Ali-Trainer Angelo Dundee, der an diesem Abend bei Berbick in der Ecke stand, sagte, Tyson habe Kombinationen geschlagen, die er niemals zuvor sah.
Tyson kündigte an , er werde nicht nur der jüngste , sondern auch der älteste Weltmeister im HW werden ( Altersrekord lag zu dem Zeitpunkt bei 37- Jersey Joe Wlacott). in einem knappen halben Jahr ist Tyson ja älter als Foreman bei seinem Sieg gegen Moorer war. Also bald kann er mal wieder anfangen zu trainieren.

Es war die art und weise wie Tyson den Berbick abfertigte. Wie ein Zug überrollte er den alten Veteranen und wurde der jüngste und spektakulärste Champion aller Zeiten.
Tyson war zu dieser Zeit wirklich einzigartig und von niemanden zu stoppen.
Unglaublich dass das schon 25 Jahre her ist. Weiß jemand ob der Kampf damals in Deutschland übertragen wurde?
Ein Bekannter von mir meinte mal er habe 1988 mit seinen Kumpels den heiss ersehnten Kampf Tyson vs Spinks gekuckt. Der wurde bei uns anscheinend live gezeigt und alle waren erstaunt und enttäuscht zugleich. Erstaunt wie Tyson den Spinks in ein paar Sekunden kurz und klein schlug, enttäuscht das der Kampf so schnell vorbei war.

Das mit dem ältesten WM aller Zeiten hat er dann ja nicht ganz gepackt.
Aber egal, mit 20 Jahren WM im HW...das wird es wohl nicht nochmal geben!

das denke ich auch! Ich würde mir an seiner Stelle ein Bier aufmachen die DVD des Kampfes einwerfen und mich kaputt lachen wie ich damals die Welt auf den Kopf gestellt habe.
Bei youtube fand ich den Kampf, kommentiert von Hans-Joachim Rauschenbach. Einer der besten deutschen Boxkommentatoren.

Ich fand den Rauschenbach auch immer klasse, ist der nicht vor kurzem verstorben?
Ich kenne Rauschenbach von den Boxchampionsvideos. Da kommentiert er die alten Kämpfe aus "heutiger" Sicht. Das was er da sagt ist allerdings auffallend fehlerhaft. Ggen Berbick ist Tyson stattt 20 22 und gegen Spinks behauptet er zB dass Tyson jetzt alle Verbände vereint hätte und nun unbeastrittener Champ wäre.

No way. It’s not for me anymore, I would be afraid to fight. I’m different man now. For the others maybe an over-40 heavyweight tournament would be a good idea.

Just like this. I even like the name. Just make them fight only eight rounds so they will be full of energy. I’m sure people will buy this. That the fight would be entertaining. I just want to make one exception – everybody over 40 is very welcome except Vitali Klitschko. He’s too good."
