paar neue infos

Update: Guard Baron Davis suited up on Wednesday February 7 but didn't play. Warriors coach Don Nelson said he thinks Davis will play against the Chicago Bulls on Friday. "We could have used him in some spot duty maybe, but I thought it would be better to wait so I wouldn't lose him for the next game as well," Nelson said.

Update: The trial of Warriors swingman Stephen Jackson on three counts stemming from an altercation outside an Indianapolis strip club -- including a felony charge of criminal recklessness for allegedly firing five shots from a handgun -- was pushed back on Thursday for two months. Instead of opening on Monday, Jackson's trial was continued until April 12, just a week before the end of the NBA's regular season.

Update: Pacers starting power forward Jermaine O'Neal missed the game against the Supersonics on Wednesday with a bruised left knee, which he suffered in the second quarter of Saturday's victory at Memphis in a collision with Pau Gasol. O'Neal considered sitting out Monday's game against Golden State but said he wanted to play against his former teammates, particularly Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson. He expects to play Friday against Denver.

Update: Shooting Guard Michael Redd continues to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis. He did not travel to Oklahoma City with the team on Wednesday February 7, so he could stay home and continue to get treatment on his injured left knee.

Brad Miller OUT for at least 4 games!

Kings' C Miller out until after All-Star break
TIM BOOTH, Feb 10, 2007
The Sacramento Kings will be without center Brad Miller until after the All-Star break after pain from a partially torn fascia in his left foot flared up. Miller was bothered of late by the foot and had an MRI done in Sacramento on Friday. He went through shootaround on Saturday, but doctors determined rest would be the best treatment.

und rotoworld sagt:

B. Miller out past All-Star break w/fascia tear

Brad Miller, who did not play in Saturday's game against the Sonics, will be out past the All-Star break after a partially torn fascia in his left foot flared up.

Needless to say, the news isn't good. Miller dealt with the plantar fasciitis back in November, and only recently was starting to put up boards and blocks. But the pain lately bothered him, causing him to undergo an MRI test on Friday and subsequently be ruled out for tonight. And though he expects to be back on February 20, the team's first game after the break, there's no telling with this type of injury. Shareef Abdur-Rahim will continue starting in his place and might provide decent interim value

brad miller ist und war ja nicht gerade bekannt dafür ein knallharter ironman zu sein...

Pacers forward Danny Granger was taken off the court on a stretcher on Sunday after he fell to the floor in the third quarter against the Clippers.

Granger scored nine points before leaving and the exact nature of his injury is currently unknown. He was face-down on the floor for several minutes while medical personnel attended to him until he was finally wheeled off the court.

:ricardo: Hoffentlich ist da nix schlimmes passiert, gute Besserung Danny
