But then the question is, should records set during training count? I don't think there is any sport where records set during trainings count as record, like athletics, swimming, speed skating etc... It has to be during an official competition in all those sports as far as I know, shouldn't...

They can always hope...look at Lindsey Vonn, they didn't even know if she would ski on a high level again. Now she is back on the snow and confident to make her return in the World Cup in november, with still a long time to go till Sochi.
