    🇯🇵 An die Japanfans

I'm really not good at recognizing Japanese people :neinnein: This photo and some more is on Murofushi's Facebook page, which I visited today because he announced his retirement from athletics there :)

I'm questioning my sanity, but am I right that hammer throw legend Koji Murofushi is pretending to jump together with the one and only Nori here? :ueberleg...

    🇸🇮 Die Slowenen

During the first stage of the Giro d'Italia cycling race, yesterday in Apeldoorn (30 minutes from where I live), I gave an extra cheer for LottoNL-Jumbo cyclist Primoz Roglic. I'm sure you guys here are familiar with this name :) In a sensational turn of events, he only lost the win to Dutch...

    Weltcup Schonach 03.03-06.03.16

Frenzel opened the door, Krog closed it. Anyway, sad that the first German "winner" in the Schwarzwaldpokal wins only because of the judges. The German Zuschauer deserved a real win, not an unfair win like they got now. A result to forget quickly.

    Weltcup Schonach 03.03-06.03.16

The Germans think speed is enough, but it's not. You also need to be clever and willing to fight, like the Norwegians are. As said before, it's not chess or checkers, it's a physical sport. And as I said before, the Germans are my favorites, but damn, they should grow up and stop crying and...

    Weltcup Schonach 03.03-06.03.16

If Frenzel only can be the first German Schwarzwaldpokalsieger in 30 years because he isn't tactically clever enough and needs a protest...that would be such a shame. I had wished the first German winner in such a long time would win because he was the best of the day, not because he can only...

Wow, fantastic finish :D: And wonderful finish by Krog Those Germans really need to get some lessons in tactics.

Don't get me wrong, I'm usually a fan of the Germans in these sports, but in this situation I just really can not be fair and say "ok it's Graabak's fault", because it isn't :hihi:

Riessle starts falling because of his own pole, Graabak's pole only gets close when Riessle is already on his way to fall.

    Weltcup Schonach 03.03-06.03.16

Wonderful finish yesterday, just a shame Riessle made a mistake in choosing his position. He was faster, Graabak was tactically better and often that's what gives victories  These things happen, if you don't want a bit of physical fighting for the win, go play chess.

Fantastic news! But, what's with "the rebirth of my sister"...? Did I miss something there? Edit: I just read it back here in the thread, that must have been a very, very intense couple of weeks for Nori..

Of course that's what most athletes would say, you won't hear any athlete say "I want to win so badly, I would take all doping I can" :D:

More about this: http://nos.nl/artikel/2025033-volgens-mij-had-niemand-een-idee-wie-ik-was.html After last season there was no support from the association anymore, so he started his own team together with Ruben de Wit (the "Dutch Skijumping Team" that you can see on Facebook, it does not have...
