It's nice that Anssi is getting sponsors
Not a bid surprise though. Ski jumping is still one of the most watched sports in Finland and now that Ville is out for the season, there really is no one else to fight for the sponsorship money but Anssi. Others are not good enough and Matti and Havu don't seem ready to do what it takes to be sponsorable.
Matti simply seems to like being in the back row and Havu is not ready to compromise his privacy to be marketable. To be a household name (and that they attracting good sponsors) you have to give also little bit of yourself. Sport isn't enough, you have to be ready to tell at least something about yourself, give a story. Doesn't have to be that personal, something about your background, family, maybe about your pet or hobbies, what you plan to do, when you grow up etc. but little something. And Havu is notoriously tight-lip when it comes to anything even remotely personal. For example at Vancouver he answered to reporter's question (politely) that he will not talk about his personal matters. The question was, if he happens to have parents, brothers or sisters... (The reporter told this in his column about how badly Finnish athletes market themselves compared to other athletes at Vancouver. He didn't tell Havu's name, only that it was Finnish ski jumper, but Matti, Rane and Hapa have often told this specific information about themselves.)
