Möglich das er ne No-Trade Klausel hat - wissen tu ichs nicht - aber möglich ists immerhin.

Hab da nochmal bei ESPN nachgelesen, korriegiert mich , aber Hamilton hat wohl den Buyout der Cavs abgelehnt, dadurch ist der Trade wohl nicht zustande gekommen.

Je nach Summe hätte ich das wohl auch getan.

Was hat er noch offen? 18 Mios.? Wieso sollte ich mit 32 Jahren mehrere Millionen liegen lassen? Nen Ring hat er schon und langsam kommt er in das Alter wo man dann auch mal an die nähere Zukunft nach der Profikarriere denken muss. Die Pistons sind doch selber schuld daran das sie ihn nun nicht mehr loskriegen.

Rip versauert seit Wochen auf der Bank anstatt sich wenigstens ein wenig präsentieren zu können und den Vertrag haben sich die Pistons auch selber in die Bücher geschrieben. Wer will denn einen Spieler mit dem Gehalt verpflichten wenn man nichtmal weiss wie der grad so drauf ist?

EDIT: Dieser Boykott ist natürlich ebenso unterste Schublade, das ist schon richtig - doch hier seh ich das ziemlich genauso wie C-Quense - an dem Theater sind die Pistons (Dumars) letzendlich doch selber schuld.

But he doesn't take accountability. That's a word Hamilton has no use for and perhaps won't, until he goes somewhere else and sees the same issues following him. Then again, he'll probably blame that coach, too.

In his 10-man rotation, no player played reached the 30-minute mark, nor did they fall below the 20-minute mark. In other words, every one of them is a risk, and in a weekly lineup they're almost unstartable. Season ticket owners in Detroit have to be furious, and Joe Dumars' job should not be safe for allowing this to go on.

nach langer Funkstille zumindest wieder ein paar Neuigkeiten, ich glaube es aber erst, wenn die Verträge unterschrieben sind, bevor Karen im letzten Moment wieder zurückzieht, und mehr Geld will...

ohne Deron haben die Nets federn lassen, mit dem 6. Draftspot wird es höchstwahrscheinlich nix mehr, es wird wohl wieder Draftspot Nr.7, da müssten wir genug Vorsprung bei den Niederlagen vor den Clippers und Waukee haben, das selbst eine kleine Winning streak im April (wovon ich schon mal ausgehe ) zu überleben wäre, ohne die Draftposition zu verschlechtern

geht mir auch so....es gab immerhin schon oft die meldung, dass der deal kurz vor dem abschluss steht...

schade, dass man bei dieser schXXX-saison keine höhere draftposition bekommen wird, aber ich begrüße jeden rookie, der talent und einsatzwillen mitbringt...
spieler wie perry jones, kemba walker oder enes kanter sind da sicherlich kandidaten für Nr. 7....auch kenneth farried ist für mich ein kandidat.
er wird zwar nicht so hoch gehandelt aber irgendwie wäre er so ein prototyp-piston...

This time last year, scouts were mixed on Monroe. They liked his talent, skill and length but had questions surrounding his inconsistent motor. Would he engage as a rebounder? Would he be a paint presence? Would he find ways to be a significant producer consistently?

As Pistons fans now know, the answers to those questions are yes, yes and yes. Monroe is entrenched in the starting lineup, one of just a handful of first-round picks who can say that. He's a double-double threat every night now after not getting his first until Jan. 4 -- a 14-and-11 game against the Lakers in L.A. Since then, he has recorded 17 more and missed a double-double by one rebound or point in four other games.

Monroe has learned to compete harder and for longer stretches, and he's doing so while fouling less often. In fact, he rarely has had to worry about being in foul trouble, which is gold for a starting rookie center. He has gone from a big guy with questions about his future to the big guy his franchise will build around. That makes Monroe our 2011 MIP.

Pistons' Villanueva suspended five games for altercation

NEW YORK, April 13, 2011 -- Charlie Villanueva of the Detroit Pistons has been suspended five games without pay for initiating an on-court altercation with Cleveland Cavaliers' Ryan Hollins and attempting to escalate the altercation by entering the Cavaliers' locker room on two occasions following his ejection, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 5:47 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Pistons' 110-101 loss to the Cavaliers at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Monday, April 11.

Villanueva will serve the first game of his suspension tonight when the Pistons play the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center. The remaining games will be served during the first four 2011-12 regular season games in which he is physically able to play.
