According to the Indianapolis Star, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said that Jermaine O'Neal (flu) will not make the trip to Denver for the team's Jan. 4 game with the Nuggets. "Hopefully he can fly out on Wednesday," said Carlisle.

good news:

It appears his bout with the flu is a bit more serious than we thought. David Harrison will continue to start in his absence, but don't expect O'Neal to be out much more than a game or two.
