Asked on Sunday if Carl Landry (ankle) would be available to play, coach Monty Williams lashed out at Landry and others for not caring about late-season games.
"I’m not going to hide it any more," he said. "We don’t want those kind of guys going forward. This is the time of year you find out who wants to play for the right reasons. I know what I’m looking at. I know who could play and who couldn’t." Chris Kaman also seemed to draw Monty's ire, though he did suit up and play 26 minutes off the bench. On the flip side, Williams specifically praised Jason Smith (thigh), Jarrett Jack (ankle) and Al-Farouq Aminu (ankle, foot) for playing hurt. Tweak your expectations accordingly, and remember that the Hornets only play three times this week.
