Only lowering the start gate in case of absolute emergency I find somewhat useful. Increasing the start gate I find totally stupid, because it actually means nothing and it is only done to 'increase the show' (whatever that means), the jump will be still scored as if it was taken from original...

For Large Hills, gate factors were up to 10 points/meter, so I think for Flying Hills they would be at least 12 points/meter. Evensen would probably recieve slightly lower score for the 195m from gate2, but Schlierenzauer's jump of 203.5m from gate 2 would 100% bring him more points than 210.0m...

Jiri Parma junior participated in Harrachov ski-flying in 2001, not the famous Jiri Parma from 1980's. His last season was indeed 1995/96. FIS database is often wrong in those situations when there are two jumpers with similar surname.
