Gerhard Hofer wird übrigens, ähnlich wie zuvor in der Schweiz, auch als Trainer in Finnland tätig sein.

Hofer is technician, not trainer. At least by title and according to what Niemelä told about Hofer's task description.

That of course is more than probable if he has an interest for coaching. But it is also so, that problem for Finns has never been the lack of good coaches but lately they have been really badly behind Central European when it comes to equipment and that is why they are so excited to be able to hire Hofer. Last years they have been trying to produce miracles from thin air in technical side and it has really taken its' toll.

It is also a bit of the question how much Hofer will have day-to-day contact with jumpers so that also may factor in how much he will have to do with coaching.

ich hoffe, du bist dir bewusst, dass dich wegen dieser Aussage unzähligen Menschen töten möchten! :hihi:

außerdem "the coach team" ist ein typischer Terminus um das auszudrücken, was auf Deutsch "Betreuerteam" heißt. (nur so am Rande)

Wenn man den gesamten Zusammenhang betrachtet hat er das aber sicher nicht im Sinne von "Betreuerteam" gemeint.

Sonst wuesst ich jetzt auch nix ausser an die Schanze fahren, Glueck haben das einer da is und nachfragen. Aber ich kann nich abschätzen ob man da eine Antwort bekommt. Im Netz aufgelistet findet man die sicher nicht.

Ach ja noch was: Am 20.7 (Finnjumping Cup) und am 25./26.9 (SM) ist definitiv was los.
