Würde mich gerne auf diese Weise bißchen rundhören, bei ALLEN.

Vor allem auf die Hard-Rock-Fraktion wäre ich gespannt. Weil, es ist schon ziemlich schwierig, ein einigermaßen passables Hörbeispiel von KISS - Alive zu finden, bei dem für den entsprechenden User keine altersentsprechende Entschuldigung gilt.

Objektiv gesehen ist das eigentlich alles sche!ße, oder etwa nicht?

das ist natürlich schwierig, einen alternden Halbpopper von Rock'n Roll zu überzeugen und wird vermutlich auch nicht gelingen. Mich kann ja nun auch niemand mehr von Neil Young oder Nancy Sinatra überzeugen, da bin ich viel zu eingefahren in meinen urgeigensten Geschmack...

Super, da werde ich mich durchhören, insofern ich das nicht sowieso kannte bzw. kenne.
Ich sehe mich gar nicht weit weg von einem Rock'n'Roller, bin nun aber kein besonders großer Fan des Subgenres Hardrock bzw. Heavy Metal.
Led Zep, Thin Lizzy, Van Halen finde ich ausgesprochen gut, anderes, z.B. Guns'n'Roses, weniger.

Naja und von wegen Halbpopper: Ich stehe zwar voll zu meinem Popanspruch in der Musik (bin halt Melodie-Fan), aber die von mir gewählten Alben sind dennoch mehrheitlich kantiger und "rockiger", als man vielleicht fälschlicherweise annehmen könnte.
Die Woodentops sind bspw. weit mehr "volles Tempo geradeaus", als es mein Hörbeispiel ausdrückt, das ich aber nehmen wollte, weil es so "schön" ist.

Am liebsten ist mir: schön, schnell, melodisch, gut gesungen, mit Gitarren und mit Kanten. Ein guter Text schadet auch keineswegs, so als Kirsche auf die Sahne.

Betr. das böse Wort sche!ße in meinem Zitat: das bezog sich ausdrücklich nicht auf Hardrock allgemein, sondern nur auf Kiss.
Bei Kiss sind meine Lieblingsfaktoren nunmal eher unterrepräsentiert (Check: Schnell und mit Gitarren erfüllt, Rest nicht), ich fühlte mich sogar als Teenager für diesen albern Popanz schon zu alt.
Kann aber nachvollziehen, dass man das Superspitze !!! findet, wenn man das seinerzeit megageil fand.

@Gegen: ich hab einige Kumpels, die auf der Popwelle schwimmen, die Go Betweens sind mir daher auch ein Begriff, kennt ja nun Otto Normalhörer auch nicht. Ist auch durchaus hörbar, auch Neil Young finde ich teilweise richtig gut, wollte nur ein wenig rumalbern. Der Halbpopper war dann auch nur spassig gemeint. Jemanden, der Musik zu ernst nimmt wie Du, respektiere ich sowieso, auch wenns eine andere Richtung ist, aber da sind wir uns schon verdammt ähnlich.

zu KISS: natürlich gibt es viele Leute, für die das eher Klamauk als Rock'n Roll ist. Ist ja nun auch nicht allzuweit hergeholt. Trotzdem schaffte ich es in meiner DJ Karriere den ein oder anderen davon zu überzeugen, dass es durchaus Gründe dafür gibt, die Band zu mögen. Aber ich bin nun weit davon entfernt, hier zu missionieren. Wie sagt der schöne Mick immer so schön "It only Rock'n Roll but i like it". Oder um meinen leider viel zu früh verstorbenen Vater zu zitieren - "Katz frisst d'Mais - i mogs ned"

hab mich heute nacht ein wenig durchgehört, mad ferrits Liste gefällt mir außerordentlich gut. Strokes, Pulp, Verve - sind ein paar gute Dinger dabei, die ich schon ewig nicht mehr gehört habe. The Gr_8 hat auch einige richtige Kracher dabei und sehr bemerkenswert - von X-ecutioner kannte ich nicht einen Song, auch nicht den Titel von Nas.
