Just a simple message :
1) By using these formulas, direct contact that fans have with every jump (jumper) will be lost forever, because distance and style marks (things which fans could actually see) will be totally irrelevant without taking into account those hidden factors.
2) We would be creating totally new sport, because by using these factors many results from the past would look much different
3) There is no way these formulas could be 100% correct, but even a slightest change in wind conditions also brings change to final score.
4) Even if they would be 100% fair, all the emotions from watching ski-jumping would be gone forever, because we will be totally dependent on computer readings, and not our eyes. Introducing tv-cameras in football would also make football more fair, but that would bring the same results.
And sport without emotions is meaningless.
I got the reply saying that my e-mail was recieved, and that FIS Council will certainly take into account all aspects before making a decision. Somehow I don't believe that, but it was worth a try
