Rodney Stuckey
Rodney Stuckey left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter after getting kneed in the thigh. The Pistons don't play again until Wednesday, so with any luck he won't miss any of Detroit's three games this week. We should have an update once he's reevaluated on Monday, so check back soon.

Andrew Bynum
The preliminary diagnosis is that Andrew Bynum has a sprained right knee and will miss the next six weeks. This isn't an official report --the Lakers are still awaiting the MRI results-- but the NY Daily News reports that "it could be longer, and the damage could be more serious." This is obviously a terrible blow for Bynum's owners, but there's a slim chance the test results will contradict this early report. Keep your fingers crossed.

Kevin Garnett
Kevin Garnett missed Sunday's game against the Timberwolves with the flu and coach Doc Rivers says he may not play on Tuesday, either. "He's sick. He's really bad. His fever's really high," Rivers said. "He's probably not playing Tuesday. For him to be out of any game, especially today, he's got to be pretty sick."

Deron Williams
Deron Williams will miss Monday's game with a bruised right quadriceps just above his knee that caused significant swelling. "It hurt the whole game like any bruise would," said Williams of Saturday's game when he scored a season-high 35, "but when I got on the plane, my knee just swelled up and it started hurting pretty bad. I couldn't walk." Ronnie Price is expected to start in place of Williams, who is now day-to-day with the injury.

Andrew Bynum
Results of an MRI on Andrew Bynum’s right knee showed a tear of the medial collateral ligament, meaning he'll be out anywhere from eight to 12 weeks. Let's say that in a best-case scenario Bynum returns in eight weeks on April 1. That means he would play in the Lakers' final eight regular-season games. Our guess is we don't see Bynum in a game again until next season.

Noch ein paar Hiobsbotschaften.....

Chris Paul
Chris Paul (strained groin) left the Hornets arena on Monday with a slight limp, saying only that he hurt himself when he "stepped wrong". He plans to have an MRI on Tuesday. It sounds like Paul avoided anything too serious, but nothing is certain until the results of the MRI are known. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's game.

Jameer Nelson
An MRI on Tuesday will determine the severity of Jameer Nelson's dislocated shoulder, but his absence will likely be measured in weeks. "We don’t even know how bad it is...until we get an MRI," said Nelson, whose right arm was in a sling. If surgery is required, an absolute worst-case scenario, Nelson will be lost for the season.

Monta Ellis
Monta Ellis did not return to Monday's game after tweaking his injured left ankle during the overtime period. Ellis stayed on the sidelines rather than going to the locker room, and at first glance it doesn't appear to be anything too serious. This is his 'bad' ankle, however --the one he injured in the infamous moped accident-- so we'll obviously keep you updated.

Andrew Bogut
Andrew Bogut did not practice Monday, was to undergo a medical exam later in the day and did not travel with the team for Tuesday's game in New Jersey. Scott Skiles said he wasn’t sure if playing in back-to-back games was the cause for the setback but we'll know more after the test results are in. "If I had a better feel (for his condition), I would give it to you," said Skiles. Bogut is quickly climbing into the 'T-Mac range' of frustrating fantasy players to own this season.

Andrew Bogut
Andrew Bogut is expected to miss at least eight weeks with an "incomplete lower back fracture." There's a chance Bogut will return for a handful of games late in the season.

Joe Johnson
Joe Johnson is expected to miss Wednesday's game due to what coach Mike Woodson calls "some sort of viral infection." Johnson is being called day-to-day with the illness, and there's no word yet on his status for Friday's game against Charlotte.

Chris Paul
Chris Paul (strained groin) was hoping to play on Wednesday, but coach Byron Scott already ruled him out. "We just want to take a couple of days and see if he's a fast healer," Scott said. The Hornets are going to be very cautious with their team MVP, but it sounds like there's a chance we will see Paul on Friday.

C.J. Miles
Jazz swingman C.J. Miles suffered a left shoulder injury during Monday's game. Miles thinks the injury is minor but said he wouldn't know for sure until Tuesday.

Deron Williams
Deron Williams (swollen knee) practiced on Wednesday and will be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Mavs. "I definitely want to play tomorrow, so I'm shooting for that," Williams said Thursday. Hopefully a more concrete update will come prior to Thursday's tipoff, but there appears to be a good chance he'll be in uniform.

Jameer Nelson
Jameer Nelson will eventually need surgery to repair his shoulder, but the Magic are evaluating whether he can delay it until the offseason. It's possible Nelson could rehabilitate the injury and return in "two to six weeks", so his owners should probably hang onto him until a final decision is made. The recovery time from surgery is approximately four months, and if he doesn't have it the injury could recur. "What's the long-term implications if this thing pops out again?" asked GM Otis Smith.

Chauncey Billups
Chauncey Billups (ankle) is questionable for the Nuggets game on Wednesday "Just pushed off and I felt a little pop," Billups said. "It's a little sore, but I'll be all right."

Kenyon Martin
Kenyon Martin (tonsillitis/strep throat) traveled with the Nuggets to Oklahoma City but is questionable to play on Wednesday. "There's a chance," Karl said about K-Mart's status for Wednesday. "I think Kenyon will understand, after watching us play (Tuesday), we need him."

Jeff Foster
Jeff Foster appeared to injure his ankle in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game versus Minnesota. The veteran center stayed in the game to shoot free throws after the injury, but departed shortly thereafter. The injury didn't appear to be serious, but it's possible Foster could miss some time.

Manu Ginobili
Manu Ginobili (hip contusion) expects to play in the Spurs game against the Celtics on Sunday. Manu scored a season-high 32 points on Monday -- we don't expect him to duplicate that against the Celts, but it sounds safe to keep him active.

Michael Finley
Michael Finley (wrist) sat out Tuesday's game against the Nuggets. If you've been using Finley (which is only advised in very deep leagues), we're expecting him to be back in the lineup on Sunday.

Al Horford
Al Horford (knee) is still on track to return for Wednesday's game against Minnesota. He'll have some conditioning issues and has a tough matchup against Al Jefferson, but it should be safe to get Horford activated right away, especially since the Hawks will need him to score more with Joe Johnson (viral infection) sidelined.

Sasha Pavlovic + Lorenzen Wright
The Cavs will be without Sasha Pavlovic and Lorenzen Wright again on Wednesday. Both players have the flu and did not travel with the team to New York.

Chris Bosh
Chris Bosh left Wednesday's game in the fourth quarter with a sprained right knee and did not return. Uh oh. He had 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists, but we probably won't have details about his injury until Thursday. Owners have to keep their fingers crossed on this one, given all the other injuries that have taken place recently.

Jose Calderon
Doug Smith reports that Jose Calderon was not on the floor for the National Anthem Wednesday and that a last-minute decision was made for him to sit out against the Lakers. Calderon didn't look like himself on Monday when he hit just 1-of-9 shots and our guess is his hamstring is still bothering him.

Aaron Brooks
Aaron Brooks missed Wednesday's loss with the flu. Maybe it was the absence of Brooks that allowed Rafer Alston (16 points, three 3-pointers, six assists) to play so well. Brooks is day-to-day.

Andrew Bynum :skepsis:
Phil Jackson said Wednesday that Andrew Bynum (right knee) will concentrate on icing and resting his knee for the next two weeks, then spend another two weeks on conditioning drills. At that point, barring any setbacks, it's possible that Bynum could resume basketball activities and possibly return in five weeks or so. We're still not sure why the Lakers said he'd miss 8-12 weeks, as several doctors have told Rotoworld that the typical recovery time for a moderate MCL tear is 4-6 weeks. We doubt Bynum will return to form before the end of the season.

Luke Ridnour-G- Bucks

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal, Luke Ridnour suffered a broken thumb in practice on Thursday, and will be sidelined for up to four weeks.

Since the Bucks finalized a trade sending Tyronn Lue to the Magic during the same practice (ouch), Ramon Sessions is the only true point guard left on the roster. Both Sessions and shooting guard Charlie Bell stand to get a ton of run in the interim.

Den habe ich zum Glück aufgrund des miesen Spielplans schon getradet und nicht den anderen Kandidaten Sessions.

Update...

Elton Brand
Elton Brand will reportedly undergo season-ending shoulder surgery on Monday. Just yesterday it was reported that Brand's shoulder was healing and he would play on Thursday against Indiana, but having seen him struggle in nine minutes against the Celtics Tuesday, it's no surprise that he appears to be done for the year. You may want to wait for more definitive confirmation before cutting Brand loose, but it looks like his first season in Philadelphia is over.

Chris Paul panik:
Chris Paul, who has a mild groin strain, has "no chance" to play on Friday according to coach Byron Scott. CP3 participated in some drills at quarter-speed during Thursday's practice, and all indications are that the Hornets are going to take every precaution with him. Scott said that his best case scenario for return is on Sunday, and the worst case would be after the All Star break.

Chris Bosh
Chris Bosh (sprained right knee) will not play on Friday for the Raptors, according to the Toronto Star. Bosh has played in all 51 of the Raptors' games this season, and there are whispers that he has hit the post-Great Wall wall, after playing for Team USA for two of the last three summers. Get him out of your lineup until a more specific report surfaces about his status.

Caron Butler
Caron Butler will not play on Friday against the Nuggets because of the flu. That makes two straight misses so owners have to hope he comes back for the next one.

Andris Biedrins
Andris Biedrins left Friday's game at the end of the third quarter with a sprained right ankle. He had to be helped all the way to the locker room and went to a hospital to have X-rays taken, and they came back negative for a fracture. It looks like a severe sprain and he will likely be out until after the All-Star break in our estimation.

Chris Bosh
Chris Bosh won't play on Friday and doesn't sound likely for Saturday with a sprained right knee. In addition, the Sun suggests he could be out until after next weekend's All-Star break. "Obviously, I’d like to make sure he’s healthy through the remainder of the season," coach Jay Triano said. "I’m going to wait and see how he responds to treatments on a daily basis." Bosh said the injury is simply a result of wear-and-tear.

Marquis Daniels
Marquis Daniels missed Friday's game with a lingering back injury. He was slated to play tonight but couldn't go. Consider him day-to-day with the injury.

Joe Johnson
Joe Johnson will not play for the Hawks again on Friday due to the flu. His status for Saturday's game against the Clippers is also up in the air.

Brad Miller
Brad Miller (abdominal strain) will not play on Friday against the Jazz, but could play Sunday against the Thunder. If the Kings plan to move Miller, who has been the subject of trade rumors, then it makes sense that they don't press him into action.

Gerald Wallace
Gerald Wallace spoke with the media prior to Friday's game and said he is targeting Feb. 17 against Orlando for his return from a punctured lung and broken rib. His rib and lung healed very quickly and even if he doesn't play on the 17th, he should be ready to go sooner than later.

Raja Bell
Raja Bell left Friday's game against the Hawks with a strained right groin and will not return. Bad news for Bell, who had been very hot coming in. We're guessing he is done until the All-Star break and that D.J. Augustin will fill in for him.

Daily Update

Quelle: Rotoworld.com

Rudy Gay
Rudy Gay will not play on Saturday because of a hip flexor strain. Quinton Ross replaced him in the starting lineup. This report comes from Raptors beat writer Doug Smith, who is live blogging courtside. Once more information is available we'll pass it along.

Mike Bibby
Hawks coach Mike Woodson hasn't ruled out Mike Bibby (sprained foot) for Tuesday's game. "Only time will tell," Woodson said. The Hawks play back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday before shutting it down for the All-Star break. Keep an eye out for updates on Sunday.

Chris Paul :wall:
Chris Paul (groin) is not expected to play in the Hornets game on Sunday. CP3 could return for Monday's game, so hopefully we'll have an update after shootaround on Sunday. As expected, Tyson Chandler (ankle) will also miss the game.

Chris Bosh
As expected, Chris Bosh (knee) did not play in Saturday's game. He is listed as day-to-day. The Raptors next game is on Tuesday, but it's starting to sound like he won't play until after the All-Star break. Hopefully we'll have an update on Sunday, so check back soon.

Manu Ginobili :thumb:
Manu Ginobili said Friday he was feeling better and ready to play in Boston on Sunday after missing his last game with a hip injury. "I was feeling much better already yesterday," Ginobili said.

Caron Butler
Caron Butler (flu) is questionable for the Wizards game against the Pacers on Sunday. The Wizards did not practice on Saturday but we should have an update after Sunday's shootaround

Andris Biedrins
Andris Biedrins (sprained ankle) will probably not return until the Warriors' first game after the All-Star break, at the earliest. The Warriors first game after the break is on February 18th against the Lakers -- just bench Biedrins and watch for updates.

Jason Terry
Maverick guard Jason Terry, the league favorite to take out this year's NBA sixth man of the year award, sustained a broken bone in his left hand in the first half and missed the rest of Saturday night's game against the Chicago Bulls.

He was ruled out of the game at halftime after X-rays revealed the break, finishing with eight points and four assists in 16 minutes.

Terry told Mavericks officials he wasn't sure when the break occurred.

Mike Dunleavy
Mike Dunleavy re-injured his right knee against the Wizards on Sunday, leaving after three minutes were played during the first quarter. He will not return. Ouch. Obviously this is of great concern for his owners, as Dunleavy has missed 34 games this year with an injury to the same knee. Brandon Rush is getting the majority of his minutes today, but if Dunleavy is out those would likely go to Marquis Daniels, who is out with a back injury today. Stay tuned for details about the severity of the injury.

Sasha Pavlovic
Sasha Pavlovic returned to action on Sunday after missing time with the flu, and left the game during the first quarter with an ankle injury.

Vince Carter
In regards to the elbow injury he suffered on Saturday that caused him to miss Sunday's game, Vince Carter told the Star-Ledger, "it should be fine. I'll be all right for Tuesday." Carter also added "I'd be fine now, but I can't extend (my elbow) to shoot," which begs the question of whether or not the Nets would risk further injury so close to the All Star break, as well as the trading deadline. It sounds very likely that he plays, but the Nets could also hold him back if there was any concern that he aggravates it.

Al Jefferson ist auch verletzt, so ein Mist

mal sehen wie lange er ausfällt

Quelle: Rotoworld.com

Al Jefferson
Al Jefferson is expected to have an X-ray and MRI on his injured right knee on Monday. Jefferson said that although he heard the knee "pop", it didn't feel as bad as the mild MCL sprain that sidelined him for two weeks during training camp. "I couldn't put any pressure on it last time," he said. "This feels a lot better." By no means is that an official diagnosis, and we should know more later on Tuesday.

Mike Dunleavy
Mike Dunleavy (sore right knee) isn't sure whether he'll be able to play against the Cavaliers on Tuesday. "We're going to have to figure it out (Monday)," Dunleavy said. "There's really nothing to talk about right now." There's no mention of X-rays or MRIs, which is encouraging.

Jason Terry
Jason Terry (broken finger) is expected to visit a hand specialist on Monday, at which point a timetable for his return should be established. Terry wasn't sure whether surgery is necessary, and the early estimates have him out at least two weeks.

Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant battled the flu to lead the Lakers to a 101-91 win over the Cavs on Sunday. Kobe's stomach virus caused him to puke before the game, take intravenous fluids during the game and leave the court before the final buzzer sounded.

Chris Paul
Chris Paul (groin) could miss Monday and Wednesday's games, according to a report from the New Orleans Times-Picayune on Sunday. Paul said he is going to play in the All Star game, but coach Byron Scott said enough to let you know that CP3 is still hurting, stating "he's pretty cautious about what he has to do on All-Star weekend...(he understands) it's more important what he needs to do for this team than All-Star weekend." If they're concerned about a glorified scrimmage, then a full speed game is certainly in question

Al Jefferson is expected to miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his right knee on Sunday and will have surgery in 6-10 days.

He was coming off the best game of his career (36 points, 22 rebounds), but owners who saw him go down last night had to know this was probably coming. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery and be ready to go next year...

Chris Duhon
Chris Duhon told the New York Times that he thinks he will be able to play next Tuesday, after spraining his left ankle this past Tuesday. Wait for the MRI results and corresponding reports.

Tracy McGrady
The Rockets issued a news release that says Tracy McGrady's MRI revealed no change in his injured left knee. However, a report by Houston's Local 2 television station suggests that T-Mac needs season-ending microfracture surgery on the knee, and McGrady still says his knee injury is very serious in nature. "For everybody that thought I was just playing with some (imaginary) knee injury, my (injury) is real," he said. "It’s big. It’s not just some pain. I have a real significant problem with my knee." He's doing everything he can to be shut down for the rest of the season, but the Rockets are not playing along. In any case, plan on benching T-Mac until further notice.

Greg Oden :mensch:
Greg Oden missed Friday's rookie challenge due to a sore left knee. He banged knees with Corey Maggette in Thursday's game and we're guessing he was just out for precautionary reasons. We should have more information before the season resumes on Tuesday.

Marcus Camby
Marcus Camby missed Wednesday's game with migraines, according to the Clippers' broadcast. It's also possible that a trade is going down, but we'll go with migraines for now. If that's the case, he should be good to go after the break.

Jose Calderon
Jose Calderon did not dress for the Raptors on Wednesday, presumably taking the night off because of his lingering hamstring problem. This injury has lingered for weeks and is showing no signs of going away. It probably makes sense to trade him if you own him, but make sure you get plenty of value in return if you go that route. Hopefully he's ready to play after the break.

Tony Allen
The Celtics are hopeful that Tony Allen (torn ligaments in thumb) can practice on Tuesday. His injured thumb is currently immobilized, and Doc Rivers says that his status won't be known until the wrap comes off Tuesday, so we should have an update then.

Quentin Richardson
Quentin Richardson (bruised ribs) is not expected to play on Wednesday. Q-Rich actually was afraid he had broken a rib, but X-rays showed that it was just a bruise.

Tim Thomas
Tim Thomas returned to action Wednesday from a groin injury, but aggravated it and will not return to the game. He lasted just four minutes and hit a 3-pointer, but could struggle after the break if his groin is still bothering him.

Chris Andersen
Chris Andersen (sprained wrist, bruised hip) won't play on Wednesday after taking a flagrant foul from Shawn Marion. The good news is that Andersen anticipates being ready to play in the Nuggets' first game after the break against Philadelphia next Wednesday.

Jeff Foster
Jeff Foster (back) will not play until after the All-Star break, coach Jim O'Brien said on Tuesday. Foster could return on February 17th, though that remains tentative.

Mike Dunleavy
Pacers swingman Mike Dunleavy (knee) will not play until after the All-Star break, it was announced on Tuesday. When he returns his minutes will likely be restricted. "Structurally he's fine, it was just more of a pain threshold," said O'Brien. "When he comes back after the All-Star break, we'll re-evaluate his minutes." This doesn't sound promising for Dunleavy's owners, as a minute-share with Marquis Daniels appears unavoidable.

Joey Graham
Joey Graham left the Raptors game on Wednesday with a shin contusion. He was scoreless in nine minutes. This is especially upsetting because Graham came into this game on a roll, but at least he has the next six days to recover.

Manu Ginobili
Manu Ginobili will not play on Tuesday against the Knicks due to soreness in his right ankle. This is not the same ankle that Ginobili had surgically repaired prior to the season, but nevertheless, he is having tests on Tuesday to determine the cause of pain he's been experiencing since prior to the All-Star break. Ginobili's status for games on Thursday and Saturday depends on the results of the tests and how much discomfort he's feeling. If you're in a weekly league and still have the opportunity to bench Ginobili, it's probably a good idea to do so.

Tracy McGrady
Tracy McGrady told ESPN on Tuesday that he will miss the remainder of the season to undergo microfracture surgery on his left knee. This is a tough blow for the Rockets, but at least they have closure on what has been a season-long drama involving the health of T-Mac's knee.

Caron Butler
Wizards coach Ed Tapscott said he pulled Caron Butler from Tuesday's game for precautionary reasons after Butler fell on his right hip. Butler said his hip was sore, but didn't feel that the injury was anything serious. We should have an update on Wednesday afternoon, so check back soon.

Marreese Speights
Marreese Speights went scoreless in just two minutes on Tuesday. The Sixers TV crew reported that Speights tweaked his ankle at practice Monday, and he sat out the second half after picking up two early first half fouls. At this point he has to be considered a question mark for Wednesday's game against Denver, but hopefully more concrete info will be available before that game.

Mehmet Okur
Jazz center Mehmet Okur will not play on Tuesday because of the flu. He is questionable for Thursday's game

John Salmons
Kings swingman John Salmons is listed as day-to-day after missing Tuesday's practice with a sore lower back. An MRI was negative. "I really can't get (my back) loose and it was really bothering me in that last game against Houston (on Feb. 11)," Salmons said. The Kings play on Wednesday, then have back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday.

Chris Bosh
Chris Bosh (sore knee) is listed as day-to-day but has yet to take part in a full practice. The Toronto Star reports that "it'll be a miracle if he plays." Keep him sidelined if you have any alternatives, and hopefully we'll get a more positive report prior to Friday's game at New York.

Greg Oden
Greg Oden has been ruled out for Wednesday's game because of his injured left knee. This isn't a terribly surprising development, but it does mean Oden will play a maximum of two games this week. We should have more details soon, but for now he is questionable for Friday's game against the Hawks.

Andris Biedrins
Andris Biedrins (sprained ankle) will not play on Wednesday, his fourth consecutive DNP. He did some light shooting after watching Tuesday's practice, but the good news is the Warriors don't play again until Saturday. We should have multiple updates between now and then, so check back periodically.

Kelenna Azubuike
Kelenna Azubuike left Tuesday's practice with a limp after apparently aggravating his lingering left knee injury. It's almost futile to guess where Don Nelson will turn if Azubuike can't play on Wednesday, but our best guess is that either Corey Maggette or Anthony Randolph would slide into the starting lineup.

Marcus Camby
Clippers center Marcus Camby was sidelined for Tuesday's game by an inner ear infection. Camby missed the Clippers last game with a migraine headache, and it appears he can't catch a break. The Clippers play at home on Wednesday, so hopefully we'll have an update following shootaround.

Jeff Foster
Jeff Foster (back) did not play in Tuesday's win over the Sixers. The veteran center could return sometime this week.

Mike Dunleavy
Mike Dunleavy missed his third straight game Tuesday due to lingering soreness in his right knee. Dunleavy hasn't been definitively ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with Charlotte, but at this point we'd be surprised to see him play. The Pacers have said that this knee problems isn't as serious as the one that sidelined him for the first 34 games of the season, but it remains uncertain when he'll return.

Luke Ridnour :wall: Schlecht für Sessions ?
Bucks point guard Luke Ridnour is way ahead of schedule in his return from a broken right thumb and could return to action this week. Ridnour was seen hitting jumpers on Monday after breaking his thumb less than two weeks ago. "I think I'm way ahead of schedule," Ridnour said. "I'm just staying positive, trying to get ready and stay in shape. Hopefully, everything goes well these next couple days."

Jose Calderon
Jose Calderon will start Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers after missing the Raptors previous game to rest his ailing hamstring. While we're hopeful that his hamstring issue is permanently behind him, that's far from guaranteed. Just keep him active and hope for the best -- if you're pessimistic, go ahead and explore the trade market while he's apparently healthy.

Brian Skinner
Brian Skinner missed the Clippers game on Tuesday because of a sore Achilles tendon. Bad timing -- his services were desperately needed with both Marcus Camby (ear infection) and Zach Randolph (ejection) unavailable against Shaquille O'Neal and the Suns. They face the Suns again on Thursday, though Skinner's status is unclear.

Carl Landry
Rockets forward Carl Landry did not return to Tuesday's game after spraining his right ankle late in the first half. No word yet on the severity of the sprain, so we're calling him day-to-day until further notice.

Oben
