Danny Granger
Danny Granger is expected to miss between 10 days and three weeks with a torn tendon in his right foot. Hopefully Granger's toughness will allow him to fight through it and return closer to the 10-day part of that timeline, but owners have to be prepared for the possibility that the star forward will be out three weeks

Manu Ginobili
Manu Ginobili is expected to miss two to three weeks with a stress reaction in his right ankle. Assuming that the two to three week timetable is accurate, Ginobili should still come back to salvage some good value this season.

Kevin Garnett
Kevin Garnett will have his strained right knee evaluated on Friday, and his status for Sunday's game against the Suns is uncertain. Garnett issued a statement after the game saying, "as you know, I suffered a strain to my right knee tonight. I really don’t have any comment about it. I will have the knee re-examined (today) and we should have more information at that time. Obviously, I’d much rather be playing instead of giving this statement. Thank you." It's likely that the Celtics will play it safe.

Andre Miller
The results of an MRI taken Thursday on Andre Miller's right calf showed that it is strained. The Associated Press is reporting that he is likely to play Saturday against the Heat.

Ben Wallace
Ben Wallace missed Wednesday's game against the Raptors due to the 14 stitches he received in his forearm after crashing through a car window while playing "street football" in Virginia over the All-Star break. He is listed as day-to-day.

Greg Oden
Blazers center Greg Oden will miss Friday's game against Atlanta and Sunday's game against the Clippers because of swelling and tightness in his left knee. Oden is going to be examined on Monday to determine if he will go on the Blazers' three-game road trip.

Carl Landry
Rockets forward Carl Landry, who left Tuesday’s win over the Nets with a sprained right ankle, is listed as day-to-day. However, coach Rick Adelman does not expect Landry to play Friday against the Mavericks.

Wahrscheinlich interessant für einige Besitzer:

Amare Stoudemire-F/C-Suns Feb. 20 - 12:25 pm et

Amare Stoudemire is expected to miss the rest of the regular season after undergoing surgery Friday morning to repair a partially detached retina in his right eye, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.

This is the same eye that Boris Diaw poked in training camp and Stoudemire is expected to miss eight weeks - and the Suns' regular season ends eight weeks from today.....

Kevin Garnett
Kevin Garnett will be out for two to three weeks after being diagnosed with a posterior muscle strain of the right knee late on Friday. Danny Ainge says the injury is not considered serious, but that the C's will take a cautious approach with his return. "I don’t think it’s a major thing at all, but we’re just going to be cautious," Ainge said. "It’s been off and on...He said he tweaked it in Dallas (on Feb. 12) a little bit, too."

Mickael Pietrus
Mickael Pietrus not only came off the bench behind Courtney Lee on Friday, but left early after suffering a sprained right wrist. He had just seven points and nothing else in 17 minutes and will not have much value if coming off the bench. He missed a lot of time earlier this season with a torn ligament in his right thumb, so this wrist injury is hopefully unrelated. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Rashard Lewis
Rashard Lewis had 18 points, five 3-pointers, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in Friday's win, but left late after taking a shot to the face. We don't believe the injury is serious, but owners will want to look for updates this weekend.

Kenyon Martin
Kenyon Martin had just six points and four rebounds in 18 minutes of Friday's loss to the Bulls. He sat out the second half with back spasms and should be considered day-to-day.

Grant Hill
Grant Hill started at power forward Friday, but scored just six points and played 17 minutes in the win over Oklahoma City. There was no word of a specific injury, but the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro noted that he was "hurting" which resulted in the low minutes. We should know more on his status on Saturday, so stay tuned.

my word :wavey:

Al Thornton missed Sunday's game with a strained right arch in his foot. Baron Davis was also a game-time decision with some big toe issues, but was able to play.

Nene Hilario
Nene banged knees with Richard Jefferson in the final minute of Sunday's game against the Bucks and was unable to finish after suffering a right knee contusion. While banged knees usually don't end up resulting in serious injuries, he was in intense pain and left the arena on crutches, as the knee is the same one that has been surgically repaired. Consider him day-to-day for now, but the Nuggets training staff will reevaluate him on Monday.

Monta Ellis
Monta Ellis will be sidelined for one to two weeks after experiencing "occasional stiffness" in the same ankle that caused him to miss most of the season, according to a press release issued by the Warriors on Sunday.
Uh oh. We can't claim to be too surprised about this, given the severity of his injury, and with this news owners have been officially put on notice that all is not right with Ellis.

Ray Allen
Ray Allen left early in the fourth quarter after injuring his tailbone, but the injury was minor and he isn't expected to miss any time.

Brian Scalabrine
Brian Scalabrine said his strained neck is not serious, and he hopes to return for Wednesday's game against the Clippers. "I think they held me out more for precautionary reasons," said Scalabrine, who recently suffered two concussions.

Al Thornton
Al Thornton (strained foot) is targeting a return against the Celtics on Wednesday. We might have an update later on Tuesday, or following Wednesday's shootaround, so check back soon.

Nene Hilario
Nuggets coach George Karl expects Nene (bone bruise in right knee) to miss at least the rest of this week, and a source close to the situation said it's likely he'll miss two weeks. While not devastating, this report is definitely a setback for Nene's owners. Keep him benched and hopefully two weeks will remain the 'worst-case scenario'.

T.J. Ford
T.J. Ford was not active for the Pacers on Monday, apparently because of the flu. Ford was coming off a nice game on Sunday, so this is a disappointing way to start the week. The Pacers have one day off before playing at home on Wednesday, so hopefully Ford will get better in a hurry.

Greg Oden
Greg Oden (knee) traveled with the Blazers on their current roadtrip but is not expected to play on either Tuesday or Wednesday. What initially sounded like a minor injury has turned into a real concern for Oden's owners, though the fact that he might play on Friday is promising.

Corey Maggette Feb. 24 - 9:33 am et
Corey Maggette had X-rays taken of his hand after shooting 4-of-13 in Monday's loss to the Clippers. There's no word of the results, so we're assuming they came back negative. We'll post an update once more information is available.

Mike Dunleavy Feb. 24 - 9:43 am et
The Pacers conceded on Monday that it's unlikely Mike Dunleavy (knee) will return this season. "I think he's done for the year," said coach Jim O'Brien. The Pacers have an uphill battle to make the playoffs and it doesn't make sense to risk further damage this season, only to jeopardize next season. It sounds safe to cut your losses and drop him.

Tim Duncan
The Spurs training staff has determined that Tim Duncan has tendinitis in his right quad and will not play Wednesday against Portland. Duncan is day-to-day going forward.

Steve Nash
Steve Nash doesn't expect his ankle sprain to be a long-term issue, but won't know more until he is reevaluated on Wednesday. "It's a little swollen and sore, but it's something we'll have to reassess," said Nash. He briefly returned after the injury but said he had "no strength" in his ankle. Until we have an update, consider him questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers.

Jason Richardson
Jason Richardson was icing his ankle after Tuesday's game, saying somebody landed on his foot when he went up for a shot. J-Rich played over 33 minutes and was quite effective (6-of-10 from the field), but we'll keep an eye on his status for Thursday's game just in case.

Mike Bibby
Mike Bibby will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets due to the flu.

Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson was in obvious discomfort after twisting his back during Tuesday's loss to the Heat. He will be evaluated prior to Wednesday's game, leaving his status in doubt. The fact that A.I. finished the game bodes well, but we won't know for certain until we get an update.

Ben Wallace
Ben Wallace, who broke his right fibula on Thursday, is expected to miss four to six weeks, according to the Associated Press.

Eric Gordon
Eric Gordon hit just 1-of-7 shots for four points before leaving Wednesday's game with a bruised left shoulder in the third quarter. X-rays were negative and there was no dislocation, but Gordon will not return to the game. Consider him day-to-day, but the good news is that the injury doesn't sound too serious.

Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson started Wednesday's game and left with a stiff back in the first quarter and will not return. He came in iffy because of the back injury and will now be considered day-to-day.

Beno Udrih
Beno Udrih left Wednesday's game with a sprained foot and won't return. He had X-rays which were negative, but only played a little more than a minute tonight. Consider him day-to-day with the injury.

Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan's quad injury simply requires rest, and will not necessitate surgery. Coach Gregg Popovich said that the injury was "not quite as bad" on Wednesday, and Duncan is expected to be reevaluated Friday. There's still no official word on Duncan's availability for Friday night's game against the Cavs.

Steve Nash
Steve Nash (ankle sprain) will not play against the Lakers on Thursday, and is not certain to play on Friday against the Raptors. Nash said the ankle was "purple and sore" and "day-to-day". Suns coach Alvin Gentry said he's "hopeful" that Nash can play Friday, and owners may be staring down another game-time decision.

Corey Maggette
Corey Maggette missed practice on Thursday, and was seen by a doctor who confirmed that he has a strained right hand. Maggette is listed as day-to-day, and given his propensity to play through injury we'd be inclined to guess that he will play Friday. Owners should look at other options unless a report surfaces, and consider him questionable until then.
