X-rays on the severely sprained left ankle of Jason Kapono have turned out negative.
The winner of this year's three-point contest did not return after landing on the foot of James Posey, and we have to imagine that he'll be sidelined for a little while. The Miami Herald says that his status for practice today and Wednesday's game against the Bulls is unclear, but it would be very surprising if he took part in either. Posey's value could receive a boost if Kapono is out for a while.

Ron Artest, who has been indefinitely excused from the Kings following his arrest on domestic violence charges, allegedly shoved his wife to the floor in repeated fashion and prevented her from calling 911.

At some point on Monday morning, the altercation spilled outside, and Artest's wife allegedly smashed his windshield with a frying pan as he attempted to leave. The couple went back into the house; sheriff's deputies arrived five minutes later. There is not yet word on whether Artest could possibly return to the team this season, but it sure seems like a long shot given his pair of criminal investigations

der typ hat nen absoluten dachschaden und hat es jetzt wohl geschafft, 3 fantasy-saisons hintereinander zu ruinieren! langsam sollte man bei ihm über den stro-tag nachdenken...

bin mal gespannt, ob er diese saison noch wiederkommt, falls ja (schliesslich wird er ja noch bezahlt), dann kann ich mir schon vorstellen, dass er auch in sacramento keine grosse zukunft mehr haben dürfte...:cry:

Würde davon abraten, für den Typ habe ich mir Extra damals einen Thread gekauft, dachte er steigt wieder um mindestens so 2-3 Millionen. War für 1,71 damals ein echtes Schnäppchen. Er steig glaube ich um eine Millionen. War trotzdem nicht so schlecht, wenn er konstant so 16 FP gemacht hätte, wie gehofft hatte.

Seine Leistungen waren aber wesentlich schlechter.

Mein schelchtester Trade im Jahr. Zur Not würde ich an deiner Stelle an teuren Mann wie Gasol traden gegen einen so bei 6 - 7 Millionen und dann hast du mehr Geld, um die für Delfino mehr zu holen.

Aber kenne dein Team nicht, wenn du kaum Capspace und noch andere Baustellen hast, macht es wenig Sinn, weil zwei Trades futsch sind.

Kobe Bryant (40 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, three 3-pointers, three blocks and two steals) turned in a major stat-stuffing performance in Tuesday's double-overtime loss to Minnesota, but also committed a foul that practically was a carbon copy of the one that got him a one-game suspension earlier in the season.

Despite the huge line, Bryant wasn't all that effective from the field (13-30 FG) and was frustrated at times by Marko Jaric. He then appeared to take out his frustrations on Jaric, nailing him in the face just as he did Manu Ginobili by flailing his arm to draw a foul. joa, zu der Zeit kam ja auch Azubike auf den Markt für 0,5 mille...
Glaube sonst wäre der sicher auf über 4 mille gegangen.

Nun ja, T-Mac und JJ werden heute wohl ausfallen, somit hab ich nur nur 8 Spieler heute... Aber ich seh das nicht sooo eng, da ich "Schmerzerprobt" im bezug auf injury´s und DNP´s bin und das dürfte bei beiden nix ernstes sein. Aber schön etwas ärgerlich...

Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant Suspended

NEW YORK, March 7, 2007 – Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers has been suspended one game without pay for striking Minnesota Timberwolves guard Marko Jaric in the face, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred last night with 58.7 remaining in the fourth period of the Lakers 117-107 (2OT) loss to the Timberwolves at Target Center. Bryant will serve his suspension tonight when the Lakers play the Milwaukee Bucks at Bradley Center.
