An MRI exam has revealed that Shaun Livingston suffered tears in his left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), medial collateral ligament (MCL) and lateral meniscus in Monday's awful injury, and also dislocated his patella and tibia-femoral joint. He is expected to need eight to twelve months to recover.

The good news is that Livingston did not suffer damage to his circulatory or nervous systems. Simply put, the injury could be catastrophic to his basketball career, and we'd be pretty shocked to see him play at all next season.

Hört sich so an, dass er sich alles gerissen hat was nur irgendwie geht. Das wird mit Sicherheit mehr als ein Jahr dauern.. wollen wir hoffen, dass alle OPs und weiterführenden Maßnahmen gut verlaufen werden

Update: Livingston will be out at least 8-12 months and could miss all of next season after severely injuring his left knee Monday, accoridng to the LA Daily News. He reportedly tore his anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament, medial collateral ligament and lateral meniscus.

Analysis: Livingston tore three of the four ligaments in his knee and dislocated his patella tendon and tibia-femoral. "It's probably the most serious injury you can have to the knee," Clippers physician Dr. Tony Daly said Tuesday. "He might miss all of next year." Daly said he has rarely seen anything similar in 24 years of practice.

Update: Stephen Jackson was the only Warrior not to play in last night's 101-122 loss to the Bucks, as he rested his broken big toe on the bench.

Analysis: In the blow out, there was no reason for Jackson to play. Expect him back in the line-up quickly.

Update: There was a scary sight last night in the Warriors 101-122 loss to the Bucks, as Josh Powell dove for a loose ball and went head first into the scorer's table. Powell did manage to finish the game, but was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he stayed overnight for observation.

Analysis: Given that Josh finished the game, it is most likely not too serious, but it is still scary. Daily guys, be ready to bench him until word comes out that he is playing again.

Könnte noch ein paar Tage dauern...

Starting shooting guard Anthony Parker will likely miss Wednesday's game against the Rockets with an ankle injury and it looks like Morris Peterson will start in his place.

He was having an MRI on his sprained right ankle while the Raptors finished practicing Tuesday and it sounds like he'll miss his first game of the season after playing in all 57 of their previous games. Consider Parker day-to-day for now.

also das mit jackson find ich jetz mal gut :)
jetz muss tmac noch gesund werden dann passt wieder^^

Edit: Warriors swingman Stephen Jackson, who has a fractured big left toe, did not play on Tuesday and is questionable for Wednesday's game in Chicago. "The pain got to be too much," he said of sitting out Tuesday's game. Jackson wouldn't rule himself out for tonight's game in Chicago, saying he would work out this morning to test it and if the pain is bearable, he will play.

Shawn Marion F Out Feb 28 finger Day-to-day
Latest News
Shawn Marion is sitting out Wednesday's game with a dislocated pinkie on his right hand, along with a quad injury. We were surprised more wasn't made of Marion's injury when it was revealed in Wednesday's edition of the Arizona Republic. Leandro Barbosa is starting in his place tonight, and Marion should be considered day-to-day. Marion's injuries are being listed as a bruised right hand and a left quad injury, but this morning's paper stated he actually dislocated his pinkie last night.

Oder anstatt hier 3 Einträge zu schreiben einfach schnell 10 Sekunden opfern und auf Roto, tsn, covers etc. nachschauen.

Das würde aber den Beitragszähler nich hochtreiben. ;)

Okafor to undergo MRI on calf, may miss road trip

Emeka Okafor, who missed his third straight game on Thursday with a calf injury, has been sent back to Charlotte to undergo an MRI exam and may be out for the rest of the team's current road trip.

If that last possibility is true, Okafor's earliest return would be Saturday, March 10. This news is far from great, but we'll have to hope that the MRI doesn't reveal any tears. Remove Okafor from lineups right away and leave him there until a positive update surfaces. Mar. 1 - 10:11 pm et

Quelle: Roto.

Hab ihn zum Glück gegen Boozer getauscht.
