Runde 7 und 8 kann man wohl auch Ramlavs geben. So fokussiert bin ich nicht, von daher belasse ich das Scoring nun. Vom Gefühl her, sollte Ramlavs das hier nach Punkten doch eindeutig machen, obschon Costa immer wieder seine Momente hatte.

Kommen wir zum Punkurteil. Was ich gesehen habe... dürfte ein Punkurteil für Ramlavs nur eine Formsache sein.

Boxingscene hat ein paar Sätze im EU-Bericht zum Riga-Event verloren.

LNK Boxing in Latvia staged a big show yesterday headlined by jr lightweight Artjom Ramlavs (16-2) who outscored Brazilian Eduardo Costa Do Naszimento (9-2) to win the vacant IBA Intercontinental title.

On the undercard Swedish light heavyweight Costas Nanga (8-0, 7 KO) stopped tough veteran Artem Karasev (17-48-3) in the fourth. Karasev was down in the first and twice in the third but stunned the Swede early in the fourth but as he tried to follow up he walked into a left hook to the body and went down again and this time it was stopped.

German super middleweight Nick Hannig (11-1-1) won a majority decision over Dmytro Fedas (8-2-2) in what was the fight of the night.
