Und hier noch ein Artikel über Lee auf nba.com, zwar teilweise ziemlich schlecht geschrieben, aber dennoch erwähnenswert.

In an April Fool's joke, the Magic made the crowd think a real fan was shooting a half-court shot for $100,000 at halftime. The fan was blindfolded, and the crowd was told beforehand to cheer as if he made the shot. The young contestant missed badly but acted as though he believed he won and danced around the court in a frenzy. Before being told it was a joke and showed the replay he said, "I just got laid off at work." He was given a 100 Grand Bar of candy, but the joke was on the crowd. ... The Magic eliminated the Raptors in the first round of last year's playoffs, winning the series 4-1.

[...]No, Orlando's Courtney Lee is the only one worth mentioning.
A friend who works for the Magic sent me an e-mail pleading Lee's case for the All-Rookie Team. He pointed out that Lee, who has scored in double figures 29 times, ranks in the top 20 from 3-point range at 42.4 percent and that his scoring average of 8.4 points per game jumps to 10.6 in his 33 starts.
(Actually, the e-mail made a case for Dwight Howard for Defensive Player of the Year, Stan Van Gundy for Coach of the Year, Rashard Lewis for All-NBA and Otis Smith for Executive of the Year as well and every candidate was given a nickname. Howard was "That's Dwight with a capital 'D'," Van Gundy was "Stan the Man," Lewis was "Sweet Lew," Lee was "Kid on the Court," and Smith was "Otis My Man." I can roll with Sweet Lew's nickname and Dwight's award. He can keep the rest.)
Not bad, but I did some digging about the kid who came from a mid-major school and has the same first name as my ex-girlfriend and found an even more compelling case.
First of all, Orlando has used a six-game winning streak to overtake the defending champion Celtics for the No. 2 seed in the East if the playoffs started today. During that stretch, Lee is averaging 14.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 steals on 57.1 percent shooting from the floor and 48.3 percent shooting from 3-point range. That's what he should be putting in the e-mail.
Lee, the No. 22 pick out of Western Kentucky, is starting at shooting guard for the Magic and splashing treys in the most 3-point happy offense in the league while J.J. Redick, the No. 11 pick from 2006 out of Duke who was considered for the Olympic team because of the picture-perfect Better Basketball-honed form of his outside shot, is riding the bench!
He came in as the fourth-string shooting guard and after an injury to Mickael Pietrus, the trading away of Keith Bogans and the inability to play defense by Redick, Lee is drawing the responsibility of guarding a Joe Johnson, Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen or whomever else lines up at the two for the opposition any given night.
"He's going to go out there and play hard regardless," Howard said about Lee giving up more points than he's getting when he has to try to stop one of the aforementioned All-Stars. "I told him one day he's going to have the ball in his hands and he's going to be able to do what guys like Dwyane and LeBron (James) have been doing to him. His day will come."
I believe Howard when he says it will. That day won't be coming in the Rookie Rankings, but I think anybody on this list would trade the playoffs and a chance for a ring for a top 10 ranking any day.
