Wie wäre es denn mir Turkoglu+Redick gegen Bargnani+Graham? Sowas in der Art wäre doch sicher interessant für die Magic und auch die Raptors die dann einen Frontcourt mit Hedo, JO und Bosh hätten.

John Denton hat gerade (vor 15 Minuten) im Forum von Floridatoday seinen neuen Artikel über die Magic veröffentlicht. Dort bestätigt er das Interesse am Spieler, den ich hier heute morgen genannt habe.

Guys, just got off the phone with Denton. I've got some more news.

1.) Crittenton's agent(Wallace Prather) is based in Georgia. He is kind of an understudy to Aaron Goodwin who just so happens to be Dwight Howard's agent.

2.) Denton said he couldn't gaurantee it but he thought the deal had a good chance of going down with the Magic only giving up a couple of 2nd round picks.

3.) John said he thought finality on this deal could happen within the next 2 or 3 days if it indeed does happen and it felt like it had a good chance of going down.

4.) John felt bad for Dooling.

5.) I asked him about J.J. Redick and some of the rumors that had been flying around here about him today. He said he had heard similar stuff and that he would check it out for me.

Crittenton für 2nd Rounder wäre natürlich ein extrem gutes Geschäft; eigentlich schon fast unverschämt. Dazu noch irgendwie blöde von Memphis, weil Conley-Lowry doch eher ein Problem ist, oder?

Ich würde, wenn überhaupt, etwas wie Bogans/Future 1st Top 10 protected/Future 2nd gegen Crittenton erwarten.

Habe gerade nochmal in meinen Mails gesucht: Die Sache mit Redick, die JD angesprochen hat, bezieht sich übrigens hierdrauf:

I have some info, though I wont post it as I did promise secrecy to the people that gave it to me. They know my nick but I have no problem with you posting it. It may even be info that has been posted already so it may be dated and something that you discard. Either way its up to you.

Three pretty relevant sources told me that JJ's problem isnt with his talent or defensive play, its the fact that he has NEVER shown up to one meeting or practice on time. There have even been a few occasions that theyve had to hold the plane on road trips because of his tardiness. Seems that his head is still pretty big from College. The Magic have gone as far as to contact Coach K from Duke to have a talk with JJ to try to get him onto the same page as the team and its not worked. Otis wanted to deal JJ at draft time, but no one wanted his services for more than a low 2nd rounder. He was also set to play the last day of summer camp and then decided at the last minute not to do so. There was a long meeting between Stan and JJ after the last game was over, though I dont know the details of that. They were barely cordial when JJ and Stan talked briefly, (I was sitting no more than 5 feet from Stan on the bleacher side of the court and heard most of what they said)

Mario Chalmers was also a priority and Otis wanted to spend the money to get him but was nixed by Vanderweide. Seems that Vanderweide is being very tight on the purse strings.

Armstrong is being tusseled around as a possible back up PG, but will probably be a last resort. Otis wants no part of him, but others are lobbying heavily.

Brian Cook looks great and has really worked hard on his shot and his weight and will have an expanded role on this team this coming year. I also overheard SVG and Malone talking about his hard work and that it will pay off for him this coming year.

These are things you may or may not know, and if you dont want to post any of this its fine, I just cant as I gave my word that I wouldnt divulge any info that I got.

Na endlich. Zwar schon ein bisschen alt aber ein Veteran Guard ist auch nicht schlecht, viel besser als ein Arroyo und da Dooling für diese Summe nicht bleiben wollte..

Defensiv sicherlich nicht ganz so gut wie Keyon, aber offensiv dafür mit seinem Ballhandling die bessere Option. Solide Verpflichtung. :thumb:
