Nicht wegen dem Stinkefinger. Er hat hat im Sommer regelmässig Trainingscamps geschwänzt und ist viele eigene Wege gegangen. Sprich er hat nicht mit dem Team kooperiert. Er soll jetzt sein Privatleben ordnen (Trennung von seiner Verlobten) und wieder die Konzentration fuers Springen finden. Dann steht der Weg offen wenn er gute Leistungen anbietet. Aber das wird dauern.

Dann frage ich mich allerdings, warum sie ihn überhaupt haben springen lassen?

Und grosses Kompliment an dich, dass du dich trotz Handicap so gut zu Recht findest.

ach guck, alles gar nicht mitbekommen, was er im Sommer wieder so verzapft hat. Anstelle der Trainer hätte ich langsam mal die Faxen dicke mit dem Kerl. Private Probleme hin oder her, aber der hat ja in regelmässigen Abständen immer wieder was.

das mit harri olli nervt langsam echt extrem. also nicht die sache gestern, aber dass er seinen eigenen weg geht und irgendwelche camps schwänzt.. langsam muss doch selbst er kapieren dass es so nicht geht. und private probleme haben auch andere, das darf ja keine ausrede sein! echt schade, da er ja schon viel talent hat.

ich habe ja den eindruck, dass bei den finnen wenig/ zu spät miteinander gesprochen wird. und ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass ein harri olli einfach so mehrere trainingslager schwänzt. telefonieren die nicht miteinander, wenn ein sportler absagt ? er ist doch eigentlich ein vertrauensseliger typ, der, wenn man ihn und seine probleme ernst nimmt, wirklich aufblühen und herausragende leistungen bringen kann. ich bekomme diese saison wirklich den eindruck, dass über probleme ganz lang geschwiegen und irgendwann mit einem journalisten gesprochen wird, anstatt die betreffende peron zu kontaktieren.

Ich dachte er hat nur ein Camp wegen "private Probleme" abgesagt?! Allgemein ich wuerde sagen er war die meisten Zeit in Sommer irgenwie unmotiviert. Allerdings ich finde es nicht gut wenn ein Athlet aus die Presse erfährt er wurde suspendiert. Da stimmt ein Kommunikation wirklich nicht. Von welche Seiten sei ein Mal dahin gestellt. Da ich gebe pikas wirklich recht.

Ich versteh sowieso was nicht.
Hat er denn das Trainigslager "geschwänzt" oder war er abgemeldet? ich mein, andere im Team haben schließlich auch nicht immer an allen Trainingslagern teilgenommen :ueberleg:
Aber stimmt schon, Kommunikation ist ein Fremdwort bei denen :hmpf:

Ich frage mich vor allen Dingen:
WENN es nicht an dem Stinkefinger lag sondern an der Sommervorbereitung, dann hätte er doch in Kusamo schon garnicht mehr an den Start gehen dürfen. Zumindest wenn die Trainer, der Verband oder wer auch sonst da das Sagen hat, das als eine geeignete Konsequenz sehen!
Ob es eine ist, ist dann nochmal eine andere Frage...

I think he skipped only one camp. But apparently he wasn't enthusiastic enough in others he did participate. And he was difficult to everyone and had problems with authority figures again.

Because of problems on his personal life he was in practise out of the National Team since September and the deal was, that in Ruka he had a chance to get back. He blew that up and now he is also officially out of the team. Official word is that If he is ready to do some changes on his attitude he may have a chance to get back by performing well at the B-team later this season. Though it seems that educated guesses at press are that this will not happen and that Niemelä doesn't want him back whatever happens.

Then again a lot depends on how well others do. If they do well, it is more probable that Harri is not taken back but if performances of others are not that good and Harri is jumping well, things may change.

And of course all this is only guesses. It may be that they only want Harri to really take a hard look at himself and change his attitude and really work with his problems or it may be, that they are only bullshitting about the chances to come back (because they really don't have a good enough reason to officially ban him for life, but they really want to do so) and have decided that he will not be given any more opportunities.

Time will tell.

And it is also difficult to say how much there are problems between Harri's personal coach Kykkänen and Niemelä. Niemelä seems to blame Kykkänen at least partly at difficulties he has had with Harri and on the other hand he hadn't told Kykkänen about the problems he had with Harri before they talked yesterday at phone. And Harri had neither told Kykkänen about the problems he had had in the camps and that breaking of the trust was one of the reasons Kykkänen quitted.

Harri himself told to press that he plans to take some time off to think about his future and plans and he will later talk more about all this. With press he has been oddly calm about this thing. Even when he heard about his ban at Ruka from the reporter (this, if truth (and at least Niemelä has not denied it,) I think was major screw up from Niemelä, however difficult someone is, you don't tell them about kicking them out through the press but in person) he wasn't volatile. Only said that no one had told him about that, but if it is so, then it is. And yesterday he had answered phone when Ilta-Sanomat called and was calm and talked to the reporter shortly.
