Mtv3 seziert jetzt Harris Ruecktritt noch mal fein säuberlich.
Währendessen Havu vor Willingen jetzt zurueck rudert. Man sollte die Erwartungen nach der langen Verletzung nicht zu hoch setzen, sagt er selbst. Das nenn ich mal Selbsteinschätzung vom Feinsten. Wenn man dann doch besser ist, kann man alle ueberraschen. Vorallem sich selbst.
Die Spekulation er wuerde vielleicht nicht in O-Dorf zum fliegen starten weist er zurueck. - Wenns gut läuft, warum nicht.
Bei weiteren Spruengen geht er noch immer kein Risiko ein.
Er möchte auch ungern der Retter in der Ruestung aufm Pferd sein. (Schade...)

Der Seitenwind ist noch nicht drin da er von der FIS bisher gar nicht gemessen wurde und ohne Messung kannst du nichts über ihn aussagen. (Hab daran mitgearbeitet, darum weiss ich das.) Und die Formel hätte locker auf einem Stück Papier Platz, man muss sie dann nur noch lesen können ;-)

Das die Formel nur nen Schmierzettel fuellt ist ja das Problem an der Sache.
Schon klar Natürlich soll die Regel weiter verbessert werden und wenn da noch ein paar Trainer oder Springer mitmachen um so besser! Ich finde nur die Leute sollten zusammenarbeiten, das wär produktiver als nur zu sagen sie ist (noch) nicht gut. Kommt mir ein bisschen vor wie die Leute im finn. Skiverband, die anscheinend lieber via Medien kommunizieren als direkt...

Satakunnan Kansa tells who all didn't comment (Harri himself really, Harri's coach, Harri's dad etc.) Iltalehti headline's roughly translated "Nah, he is not ending anything", it's a comment from unnamed source. Same source also tells that Harri has been out of it from the spring both at the hill and on the personal life like a bird feeder. Other than that, they consider this a temper tantrum, but even Santtu Silvennoinen hopes Harri changes his mind on the column. Ilta-Sanomat is more diplomatic and few people (who are named Kykkänen, Lahtinen) hope that Harri will reconsider and others tell that Harri still has all the potential (also named Ylianttila and J. Ahonen.) In Aamulehti Kykkänen comments, that Harri is so stubborn, that it is difficult to tell, if he will change his mind. And that Harri will notice in few days, that just quitting his career doesn't help anything, he still has the same personal problems they have been fighting with from the last spring. Kykkänen also denies that Harri's bad form this season would had been because of lack of training. He also says, that Harri's physical test results were same this autumn they were at 2008-2009.
Harri has also not done official announcement yet for the Finnjumping or FIS. And didn't answer the phone yesterday, when Ylianttila tried to get in touch with him. Hopefully he does not get provoked enough because of the disbelieve to actually announce the retirement for FIS. If he does that, he has to again officially announce the comeback and wait for half a year because of the doping control, if he changes his mind. It would probably be better for him that he at least would leave the door slightly ajar for some national competitions, if not anything more, in case that after taking some time off and putting his life back together, he starts to feel like jumping again. If not for anything else, but for the fun of it. After all, he does love ski jumping (if not everything that comes with it.)

Well he had also something good to say about Hapa, that he is a rare talent that only comes out about once in every ten years in Finland.
(For some reason this Iltalehti unnamed source sounds very much like Tommi Nikunen to me. And Iltalehti also had an information about Hapa's physical test results on Nikunen's time...)

Also Ilkka Tiilikainen has said his piece about case Harri. To sum-up: He doesn't know anything more than what he has heard from media. He hopes Harri reconsiders, contacts Pekka Niemelä and tells what is going on and that media would leave Harri alone. He also feels media has mistreated Harri and and some reporters have tried to provoke him to stupid stunts to get something to write about.

Schon irgendwie interessant zu hören das doch so um ihn gekämpft wird.
Und was die schreibende Zunft da wieder abzieht ist einfach ohne Worte. Ich les den Sch* schon gar nicht mehr. Harri kann einem echt nur Leid tun. Egal was er angestellt hat, sowas hat er nicht verdient. :hmpf:

Harri ist doch in keinem Kader mehr, muss er sich dann bei Finnjumping abmelden?
Wenn er seine Lizenz nicht zurückgeben will, muss er bei der FIS nichts machen... Denke ich jedenfalls...

Not the joke. But no one knows how permanent this career end will be. Most of the people who know Harri seem to think that probably not very. Reactions have gone from "I'm sure he feels like that right now, and means it whole heartily now. But it's better to wait and see, how he thinks later" to "Nah, he is not quitting anything. It's just a temper tantrum."
But taking some time out, and concentrating to other things is something, everyone seems to agree, would be good for Harri. Apparently his personal life is still a total mess, has been from last spring and he is very lost with what to do.
Oh, I forgot to mention. Betting companies are giving 1,75 as odds for Harri jumping World Cup next time season 2011-12 and 2,5 for 2012-13... Those are pretty damn low.
