Hier ein Interview mit dem Manager des wohl besten Vereinsteams in HATTRICK. Nein, nicht Inter Stockholm, sondern der englische Double-Gewinner Hackers United.
Name and Team ID: Hackers United (54696)
Username: Bud_Um_Tiss
Real Name: Andrew Madden
Age: 20
Favourite Football Team: Leeds United
Playing Hattrick since: 15/01/2002
1. Who is Bud_Um_Tiss in real life and where were you born?
He's a 2nd year physics student at University. I was born in Portsmouth. Greatest city in the world;-)
2. Hackers United - its your team name - where did it came from?
Well when I joined up I didn't expect to actually get into this awesome game. I wanted a standard name revolving around Leeds or something. But they were all taken so I just put Hackers United just so I could continue with the signing up process to be honest...plus I like the idea of being a dirty team who fouls an awful lot
3. How did you learn how to play Hattrick?
Ah well. Now who didn't help me is more the question? My mentor from the start was Hristov! Boldie helped me a ton. He crowned me King of the Noobs. Kester is always a legend for advice and just for looking at what he achieved within the game. Chingiss helped me too a lot before bowing out of the English league. Waterhoose I've always spoken to a lot and advises me here and there. I've probably forgotten someone which is bad. Pirate was always considered my rival rather than someone who helped me but he did help me quite a bit as well in the early days. Plus I used to (and still do) bombard the conference with all sorts of questions...the guys there are great.
4. What are you training at the moment?
This very week? Set pieces...but all season I've been on evil General training! How is it useful? Well it won me a double even if it lost me a lot of money.
5. How do you make the best of your training?
Well before I put together this team I knew the best way to train is train long term and make massive profits that way. Taking players from say passable/solid/excellent skill all the way through to world class+.
6. In the first time of your Club's history, you have just won the Cup and are the English Premier Champion!
What do you have to say about this fantastic season and your double?
Yea its awesome! The plan came together perfectly, but we have been very lucky with injuries and cards this season. Only the one major injury was a 6 weeker to a divine scorer who I just sold on the spot for a £1m loss. It's been fun, unfortunately the past week or so (and so the day of the cup final) have not been good but that's because of my personal life, rather than anything to do with Hattrick. Believe it or not I missed the first half of the cup final…was on the phone to me mum!
7. Your team is actually the one with the biggest TSI! Is it easy to have the team with the most TSI in the Hattrick World?
I guess to be honest it actually is...you just have to be silly enough to bring in high wage players for low prices like me.
8. You are also in 1st in global Hattrick as the team with the highest wages, about 1.650.000 Euros per week!!
How do you maintain these wages?
Erm the simple answer is I don't. We lose lots of money but I knew we could survive the season. I kept enough money in the bank to get us through.
9. Do you think that you have the team that can beat any Hattrick user? Why?
I do yes. Well it's a strong team. No weakness. It's not a team I can sustain but it's probably the best team in the world right now plus our form has been high all season.
10. How do you prepare for a match?
Well shouldn't this be secret? Heh. No I just analyse them. You try not to get caught out. So you look at every detail. Pretty simple just yea need patience.
11. Which assistant do you use to help you manage your team?
Not one. I used to use HAM but when they made it p2p I just didn't bother. I like to look at Hatstats though but its not an assistant.
12. Hattrick isn't always easy to a newcomer. What advice would you give to anyone who is starting now?
Sort out your training! There are many sites to help with this and show you what to do. Just make sure you're training properly and making money that way. Should be able to bring in £6m a season at least really.
13. You have been in Hattrick for some years. What do you think about new features in a short-term?
Player loans? No. I don't like that. Champions league I like but it simply can't affect the domestic game and can't allow teams to get extra training through it. The beauty of this game is balance in that the best teams can't simply pull away like what seems to happen in real life.
14. Who in the Hattrick world is in your opinion going to have much success in the future? Why?
Well there are many top sides out there coming through. I only really know England. Although Gut in Austria are destined for glory. Apollo will one day dominate I think. Durham will always have a team which can challenge. Ladbrokes too. The big team to challenge from outside the current premiership I think is Vav United. Should also give credit to Toplover for the side he's put together. Made predominantly of English players to save on wages and has a solid team that will be in the top flight challenging for quite some time.
15. Explain me how have you managed to make Hackers United one of the best teams in the Hattrick world. Do you spend many hours a day with Hattrick?
Yea I do. Too many but that's why we have been successful this season. It's just patience. Long term thinking is the way to go.
16. There are many users that dedicate much of their time to Hattrick but don't manage to have success. Is there any
secret or magical formula in Hattrick?
Make money. Training is the best way to do this.
17. In your opinion, is Hattrick forever?
Forever? No. One day I am sure to call it a day? Then again who knows. Sometimes I feel bored and I was considering calling it a day after this season. But well I enjoy being around here a lot still and I need distractions at the moment.
18. Have you though about being England or any other country NT?
I have been u20 manager of England:-D Was a LOT of fun. Wasn't too successful. One day I would like to be England manager maybe. Or Phillipines. My mother if from there and yes I would be honoured to give that a go.
19. Why this passion for Hattrick?
It's just fun. For some reason I've always done ok at this game so I decided I wanted to win things. Especially the English Cup. I think thats more important than the Premiership to be honest!
20. To finish, describe what is Hattrick in your life.
It's a great game which I talk to everyone about. Even girls lol! Doesn't tend to go down too well however heh. At the moment it's a distraction. A distraction which I need. And an outlet for the messes I get myself into, in my real life.
21. Describe your trophies.
I love that English Cup! Although I reckon the Premiership one is prettier.
