...also d-one du musst es gucken.
The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent center Didier “DJ” Ilunga-Mbenga for the remainder of the season, it was announced today by General Manager Mitch Kupchak.
Naja, was heißt versohlt?
realgm schrieb:Lakers' center Chris Mihm will have surgery on his right heel and remain on the shelf for four to six weeks, according to the Los Angeles Times.
His ankle has been operated on twice, and he has been held off the court since December due to a sore Achilles' tendon and bursitis in his right heel.
"We wanted to give Chris a shot to have an opportunity during this time and through the All-Star break to come back perhaps, but it looks like it's going to be a little bit longer for that," Coach Phil Jackson told the Times.
Mihm noch 4-6 Wochen draußen
Tjoa ...
http://www.pe.com/sports/basketball/lakers/stories/PE_Sports_Local_D_lakers_notes_12.409faf6.htmlWith the addition of Pau Gasol, who has shown to be a terrific passer, and with the way Kobe Bryant has been dishing the basketball, Lamar Odom knew it was time to change some things in his game.
Precisely, cutting without the basketball, something Odom admitted that it was a "weakness in my game."
It's obvious Odom has been making an effort to move his body and cut without the ball.
Odom finished with just eight points on 4-for-6 shooting, but he showed how willing he is to improve his game.
"Me and the coaching staff, we talked about it," Odom said. "I've always played on teams where I got the ball and made my moves. If I look at this team, I'm like the third option, the fourth option. You have to find a way to score."
Early in the first quarter, Odom did just that, cutting down the lane, accepting a pass from Bryant and laying the ball up with his right hand. Later in the first, Odom cut down the lane and got a pass from Gasol and finished with a left-handed dunk.
"Gotta finish," Odom said. "That's not that hard. It shouldn't be."
"He just has to see the gaps in the defense and see where his man is," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "We preach direct-line principles."
Jackson smiled.
"It's not a DSL service, obviously," Jackson joked. "But the truth of the matter is, if you have a straight line to the basket, you take it."
