Wie sieht es mit deinen NBA-Plänen aus?
Je nachdem, wie ich dieses Jahr beende, werde ich in den Draft gehen oder noch ein Jahr warten. Mein Draft-Jahr ist eigentlich 2004.
Bibby is bothered by size, size means faster post entry to Shaq, and Jackson likes to have tall points that can switch to 2. Nikagbatse is faster than Banks, no I´m not kidding yes I´ve seen Banks play. Misan is 6-4/200 and he shut down Dre AND Marion in the worlds. Helpful to have a point that can defend at 1, 2 and 3 don´t you think? Scouts compare his speed, penetration and crossover to Iverson.
They need a dynamic scorer/penetrator/doberman that can hang with Parker, Nash and Bibby. I pray their answer is Misan Nikagbatse, 6-4/200 played shutdown D on Dre and Marion in the worlds, is averaging 2.6 steals in 25 minutes, shooting over 50% from the floor and 38% from 3 and he has a crossover and jets second only to Ivy.
He got a LOT of buzz at the worlds. Since then he´s entrenched in the teens among international prospects. Thinking was he wouldn´t declare for the draft this year but next so the buzz died after the worlds. But with the 20 rule as a possbility a lot of internationals are thinking about it now. Misan gets out of his K this year so it makes him much more draftable as well. The European writers are now saying Nikagbatse will declare.
The knock on his game is he´s a shoot first point and not a pure point. With the triangle, that´s not as critical a deal. The thing he´ll need to develop is penetrate and create instead of just penetrate and finish.
He´s the best defender at point in the draft. Only behind TJ in speed. I really want this guy, he´s exactly what we need.

Misan hat auch wieder nur 6 Würfe genommen. Sein Season High in Würfen ist 9 (!!!). Naja er bekommt auch nur 30 Minuten Spielzeit als Starter. Aber der Coach wechselt immer munter durch...
