Stojakovic's rehabilitation work in Greece involved drills on the court and strength exercises in the weight room. But he said his court work only involved individualized drills with no contact. [...]
Stojakovic said he experienced a setback this summer with minor swelling and discomfort in his lower back that was similar to what he experienced last March that ended his comeback attempt.
"I'm hoping that I'm going to be able to do everything, but it's going to be how I feel and how we manage this," Stojakovic said. "Some days after I push hard, then for six or seven days, it's kind of sore. When I spoke to doctors, that's how I'm going to do for the rest of my career."
When training camp begins next week, Scott said he is going to give Stojakovic as much as he can take each day, but allow him gradually to build his endurance.
