Habe mir gerade die Doku über Alex Ovechkin gegeben. Ist mir ein Rätsel wie man den nicht mögen kann. Im Trikot der Caps rege ich mich, ab und an, schon sehr über ihn auf. Doch von seiner Persönlichkeit her, ist er einfach super sympathisch. Die Szenen bei der Awardverleihung in Las Vegas oder auch sein Abstecher in einen russischen McDonalds sind natürlich super geil!

The NHL has made a new CBA proposal to the NHL Players' Association, an NHL player told TSN on Friday.

The player, who requested anonymity, said the NHL made a new offer to the NHLPA on Thursday, one which moved on term limit for player contracts, salary variance and buyouts.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the NHL adjusted its maximum contract length from five to six years (seven years if a team is re-signing its own player) and boosted the variance from five to 10 per cent.

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun adds that the new offer includes the 'Make Whole' provision that stays at $300 million and allows each team one compliance buyout prior to the 2013-14 season. The buyout would not count against the cap, but it would against the players' share.

The player says the new league offer still calls for the salary cap to be $60 million for the 2013-14 season, which could be an issue when it comes to escrow.

Noch jung genug

Er wird kommenden Sommer 61. Bei Ablauf des CBA also 71, oder bei Kündigung einer Seite nach acht Jahren 69. Da könnte er durchaus noch Chef sein. Und sonst übernimmt wohl eh Daly, und die Besitzer werden sich auch kaum ändern, von daher dürfte das keinen großen Unterschied machen

Important documentation and ratification is next phase. Start date and # of games in season still TBA, depending on how long it takes.
May take a day or two or three to figure out for sure how many games we're playing and start date.
Best news: CBA, if ratified and no hiccups in documentation, is 10 yrs with opt out after 8. 8 coincides nicely with my retirement date. Which means I've covered my last lockout. #threeisenough

Decision on 2014 Oly's will be made outside CBA. Likely NHL will participate. IIHF and IOC discussions to come with league and PA.
Draft lottery will change. All 14 teams fully eligible for 1st pick overall. Weighting system may remain, but 4-move restriction out.
Sup discipline: Shanahan 1st, appeal with Bettman 2nd. For 6 or more games neutral third party will decide if necessary.

Die Niederlage gegen München hat echt geschmerzt als aev Fan. Vor allem nach dem tollen Saisonstart der Panther... Und dann kam der lockout

Die Teams bekommen 2 Amnesy Buyouts ... innerhalb von zwei Jahren darf jedes Team zwei Spieler aus den Verträgen rauskaufen, ohne dass dies gegen Cap zählt.

in Calgary wird das Matt Stajan betreffen, da bin ich mir ganz sicher. Tanguay wäre auch ein Kandidat (3,5 pro Jahr bis 2016).

Gratulation übrigens an Shea Weber und Zach Parise, die als letzte Spieler hochdotierte Langzeit-Verträge bis 2026 bekommen haben ... die nächsten Spieler, die bis 2026 Vertrag haben wollen, können diesen frühestens 2018 abschließen :thumb: endlich ist Schluss mit diesen sinnlosen Rentenverträgen!
