A sign and trade with Seattle might not be that difficult, either. It could be made bigger, and made to benefit both teams. I read today that Seattle may try to move PG Earl Watson, whose contract runs a few more years. By doing so, they will be in position to go under the cap enough to sign a maximum-contract free agent next summer. A swap of Lewis and Watson for (the expiring contracts worth $11.3M of)
Arroyo, Dooling, Garrity, and the remainder of the Magic's cap space (a traded player exception), after resigning Darko should work. I don't know the exact numbers, but I'd bet it comes pretty close, financially. And you only have to be 25% close when dealing with NBA contracts. This gives Seattle the ability to go shopping next summer (after they know more about Durant and Green), and gives the Magic their scorer and a quality backup/marginal starter PG - along with the room to sign and keep Darko.
Weis jemand ob das von den Zahlen her klappt? Seattle wäre damit auch geholfen (siehe potenzielle Free Agents nächstes Jahr).
