According to DraftExpress Dwight hit 4 mid range bank shots in the first half.. Good to hear he's improving the Duncan shot..

DraftExpress' analysis is probably the most accurate, at least much more so than those dubious stats VSL posts. According to DE, Howard was dominant on both offense and defense, even tho he picked up some fouls. Jameer just destroyed the Hornets' guards and scored at will while still always looking to pass, especially to Howard.

Sorry, aber selbst ein Bank/Rollenspieler wird dieses Jahr nicht in Orlando unterschreiben. Vielleicht kann Grant noch einmal etwas dazu sagen, aber ich bin da eher pessimistisch.

Also, Bulls restricted free agent Chris Duhon will visit the Orlando Magic, a source said. Duhon still is expected to re-sign with the Bulls next week.

Langsam geht mir diese PG Suche auf den Sack. Man will einen grösseren OG als Jameer und will sich mit PG treffen die gerade mal einen Daumenbreit grösser sind.

Zumal Diener ne klasse S.L. spielt....heute wieder 10/8/7, darauf lässt sich aufbauen, vor allem ist seine Defense klasse.

Entweder man kommt an einen Daniels ran oder man lässt es bleiben. Franics/Nelson/Diener sind 3 PG im Rooster,dazu noch Hill.

auch daniels wäre mMn keine gute wahl. wie schon von ricard gesagt: wir haben doch gute pg´s!!!

also finger weg von leuten die uns nicht wirklich weiterbringen. lieber noch nen typ der zwischen der 2 und 3 switchen kann und dann sind wir da mit hedo, hill, stevenson + x gut besetzt.

alles was kein blockbuster-trade ist würd ich die finger von lassen.

wenn ist ja immer ganz schön,warten wir erstmal die erste saison von fran vazquez ab u dann sehen wir weiter.hoffentlich spielt er nächste saison schon für die magic.

Orlando Sentinel - The Orlando Magic have been quiet since the NBA Draft but are not just sitting around.

"The Sentinel has learned through player agents and other sources that the Magic are trying to sign power forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim, and that point guard Earl Watson is a prime target. Also, the club has been approached with the idea of signing veteran point guard Damon Stoudamire."

In the meantime, they need another as Doug Christie would like to be traded to a west coast team.

"Doug has represented to us that he likes being in the West," Magic President Bob Vander Weide told the Sentinel. "That's very clear to us."

The Magic also have to be aware of their $70 million plus payroll as any signings will add to the dollar for dollar amount that they will have to pay.

In the end though, Vander Weide expects the Magic to be better than last year's team.

"I think we're big, we're athletic and I think we got most of the pieces. Not all the pieces, but most of them," said Vander Weide, who eventually will assume the stewardship of the franchise from owner Rich DeVos. "In the East, we can be competitive, and I'll guarantee that we'll not be the team people saw in April and March.

wie kommst du darauf das sie steve mit diesem move loswerden wollen? sollen jameer u stoudamire pg u sg spielen?
sie suchen eben einen erfahrenen backup. u stoudamire hat seine qualitäten,wobei man da aber auch nicht auf größe im backcourt geht.

Steve IST Point Guard, ihn als Shooting Guard auflaufen zu lassen, halte ich für Schwachsinn, wenn man bedenkt, dass mit Nelson und Stoudamire dann die Point Guards auch nicht die größten auf dieser Position sind.

Hey everyone, haven't posted on a while, but I've been reading some NBA rumors, and it sprung clear to me that the Magic may be eager to do this trade:

THE FACTS:
1. Orlando wants to get a hold on Earl Watson, Memphis PG.
2. Memphis is in need of cash, and they've been eager to make a trade that includes both Watson (S&T) and Wells. Another playerthey could trade is Lorenzen Wright, since he was asking for an extension, which Grizz execs couldn't give him.
3. Orlando needs to fill a void at SG & C.

THE TRADE:
The trade could happen including more players, but here are some scenarios that Memphis could force Orlando to do if they want Watson:

1. Doug Christie + Mario Kasun for Earl Watson + Bonzi Wells
For Orlando:
Orlando gets their coveted FA Earl Watson, while adding a nice SG to play along Francis & Stevenson. Wells could also play some minutes at the SF. Though his attitude isn't the best, Memphis asked for him to be part of the deal.
For Memphis:
Athough Memphis loses 2 nice players, both seemed to be parting ways with them, and they get future cap relief in Christie and a cheap replacement for Tsakalidis if he leaves next year.

2. Kelvin Cato + Pat Garrity for Earl Watson + Lorenzen Wright
For Orlando:
Orlando gets their coveted FA Earl Watson, while adding depth to the C position. Although they do not solve their problems at C, getting a more athletic/less defensive version of Cato, they get an ok replacement for him, since Memphis suggests Wright should go to Orlando so the trade could be completed.
For Memphis:
Athough Memphis loses Watson, they get to part ways with disgruntled Wright. They get future cap relief in a C who, when playing at full capacity is an X-factor, and a stand-up shooter in Pat Garrity, who, if paired up with Miller could make a double perimeter threat.

3. Doug Christie + Kelvin Cato + Pat Garrity for Earl Watson + Lorenzen Wright + Bonzi Wells
For Orlando:
Although Orlando wouldn't be pleased to let go their 2 options of getting some kind of cap relief or at least better players instead, it is known that our management likes Watson a lot, and the Grizz could take advantage of this. This trade gives Orlando a nice SG, and an ok C to go along with coveted FA Earl Watson.
For Memphis:
Memphis gets the best in this trade, getting 2 great defensive presences (whenever they come out to play), which will give them cap relief, and an ok spot shooter in Garrity. If Memphis forces this trade, it is most likely Orlando won't accept it, but if they do, Memphis comes out winning.

NOTE: These aren't the trades I would like to see the Magic doing, but they sound so awfully possible, that I had to share them to you guys...

zwei deppen los (naja wenn sie den wollen dann können sie schon spielen) und mit wright eine sehr gute ergänzung zu howard und den spanier.
