Derrick Favors could start for the Jazz next season.
Tyrone Corbin said that Favors "proved himself," and we certainly won't argue for more playing time for the big man. There were whispers of Favors having Dwight Howard-like potential when he was initially drafted, and Favors showed it in the playoffs with two straight double-double performances in Games 3 and 4 when given extended playing time. He's a name to monitor for all fantasy owners as they prepare for the 2012-13 season.

At his Tuesday exit meeting, Derrick Favors spoke to coach Tyrone Corbin and GM Kevin O'Connor about being a starter next season.
Favors stock is soaring through the roof as the Jazz begin to look to the 2012-13 season. He'll be just 21 in July, but Utah's brass is already talking about him as a franchise player and building block. In the playoffs, Favors averaged 11.7 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks despite playing just 29.1 minutes per night. Even if Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap are back in Utah next season, Corbin figures to find a way to get Favors around 30 minutes per night.
