In Sapporo am vergangenen Wochenende war er 12., heute in Hakuba 32.

Morgen gibt es in Hakuba übrigens die japanische Meisterschaft auf der LH.

Ja, das sind noch Mattenspringen. Der Winter kommt in Japan sogar noch später als hier.
Heute war Japanische Meisterschaft (HS 131). Bei den Damen - wie kann es anders sein - hat Sara die Nase vorn. Bei den Herren stehen zwei Lokalmatadoren ganz oben.

Wenn sich das im Weltcup so weiterzieht müssen wir wohl wirklich noch etwas auf regelmäßige Großschanzenspringen warten, vom Fliegen mal ganz abgesehen...

I can give you the results of the trial round as well in the ladies competition, still in Sapporo. Takanashi from gate 23 with 132 m irre, Yuki Ito 121.5m from gate 27 (!) and the other far behind (excepted Yuka Kobayashi with 119.5 m from gate 32).

Takanashi is impressive.

Tochimoto 110m but on friday, for the official training jump, he was one of the bests, difficult to say where he is in the standings.... Kento 125.5m.

Takeuchi 113.5 m and the conditions didn't look that bad. It was even more difficult on friday. I don't know what was the problem in Sapporo, but few days after, he was back at the top on his home hill in Hakuba.

For the WJSC, I don't know what could be the team. Slowenia and Germany should fight for the gold, Poland have a good team, the same for Austria (even if...). I don't know where Norway will be with Odegaard or Lindvik.... Finnland for the the top-5 maybe.

Iwasa - M. Ito for sure. Then, I hope Hisaki Nagamine, a very good combiner at the hill and maybe one between Yuto Nakamura (another combiner), Yamakawa, Kurita, Keiichi Sato or even the very young Nikaido. Top-5 I hope but I have a doubt for a spot on the podium. Next year, there will be more chances at the WJSC I hope.

As for the individual comp, Iwasa as our best podium chance. But still a long road until the WJSC...

Einfach nur schade, wie das heute für Taku lief. Ich kann mir immer nicht vorstellen, dass ein Anzug an einem Tag für okay befunden wird und 24 Stunden später zu groß sein soll. :neinnein:

Und das sagen unsere Recken:

Daiki: "Ich habe noch keinen Tritt gefasst, empfinde noch keine Stabilität. Die Saison hat gerade eben begonnen und ich habe irgendwo das Gefühl, gut hineinstarten zu müssen, so dass ich beunruhigt bin."

Nori: "Der Anlauf klappt nicht. Mich stört, dass ich nicht auf Geschwindigkeit komme, ic bin auf der Suche nach dem Schwerpunkt. Auch das Timing ist zu spät. Es macht keinen Spaß, wenn die Resultate nicht kommen."

Kento: "Ich wollte im 2. DG meine Plazierung verbessern und habe unnötig viel Kraft reingesteckt. Schade drum! Aber was ich mache, ist nicht verkehrt. Allmählich werde ich stärker. In diesen beiden Wettkämpfe habe ich Tritt gefasst."

Ryôyû: "Seit ich in Ruka bin, hatte ich kaum einen guten Sprung. Das wurmt mich. In den 2. DG zu kommen, ist eine Hürde. Ich weiß, dass alles nicht so einfach ist, und gehe daher nun das Kommende an."

Taku: "(die DSQ) Das war schade. Weil ich von der Plazierung aussichtsreich lag, bin ich enttäuscht. Jedoch ist meine Form besser als erwartet. Ich muss es eben einfach hinnehmen."

Naja, wer weiß, vielleicht hat er den Anzug getauscht. Oder der alte Anzug hat sich ein bisschen gedehnt. Bei den Kombinierern hat es ja im PCR Eric Frenzel erwischt - auch einen erfahrenen Athleten, dem das eigentlich passieren darf. Aber später hieß es dann, dass die Schrittlänge genau um einen Millimeter nicht gepasst hat. Das sind dann schon Nuancen...
