Magic F Hedo Turkoglu said he has had to take injections to numb the pain in his left ankle, but skipped the shot before Sunday's game against the Sixers.
Turkoglu sprained the ankle in the Magic's third-to-last game of the season in New Jersey.
He said he had taken the injections to play in some of the earlier playoffs games against the Sixers. But he said the there's always pain "the next day" so he decided to skip the shot before Game 4.
Turkgolu, who had been struggling with his shot, made the SIxers numb by draining a game-winning jumper, a 3-pointer, with 1.1 seconds to tie the series at 2-2.
