Seh das alles genauso Mello. Von den 5 Niederlagen waren 3
"second night of a back-to-back"s, in Philly ohne Dirk und gegen SA nachdem Josh Howard sich verletzt hatte.
Calkins: Dallas star lets his game do talking this time

Dirk Nowitzki dressed slowly, deliberately, then turned to face the media throng.
"Pretty soft tonight," someone suggested.
Nowitzki laughed a victor's laugh.
"I think we responded well as a team," he said. "We responded the right way."
With a win.
With a 90-83 smack to the side of the Grizzlies' head.
Nowitzki and his Dallas Mavericks didn't know exactly how they got into a spat with Bobby Jackson and the Grizzlies, but they've been around enough to know how to hold up their end.
"A little turnabout," said the Mavericks Darrell Armstrong.
And that's fair play, right?
"It's good for the game," said Dallas coach Avery Johnson. "You've got two good teams. It's good there's some talking and jousting going on. Just don't be a bad team."
Which, come to think of it, might be why the Grizzlies have never had a serious rival before.
Oh, they had the Toronto Raptors for a while. Because both teams had to worry about Canadian exchange rate. Not exactly the stuff of Celtics-Lakers, eh?
And there was that one night when everyone in The Pyramid booed Sacramento's Peja Stojakovic. Because he was mean to James Posey. Now Posey is coming off the Heat bench.
Then along came Nowitzki, not exactly a smack-talker, in the wake of last month's 20-point loss to the Grizzlies.
"(Gasol) is a good player but he's not that good," he said. "We should have had an answer for him."
Mind you, Nowitzki and Gasol have been known to hang out. Gasol has Nowitzki's cell phone number and e-mail address.
"He's a good guy," said Gasol.
Hey, don't go ruining this, Pau!
Bobby Jackson stepped in and saved the budding rivalry, like the true veteran he is.
"I don't even know why (Nowitzki's) talking," Jackson said. "He's probably the softest player in the industry."
There.
That's better.
Now the thing was on.
When Nowitzki woke up and read The Commercial Appeal Friday morning, he found himself in the middle of a feud he didn't quite understand.
"I never disrespected Pau's game," he said.
Oh yeah?
Booooooooooooo.
The fans booed Nowitzki every time he touched the ball. They held up Nowitzki signs.
"Dirk is a jerk," said one.
"Willst du mit mir abendessen?" said another.
Ahhhh, dissing him in German, eh?
"No," said Adrianne Smithey, 29. "I'm asking him if he'll have dinner with me."
Revenge is best served by candlelight?
Nowitzki shrugged. Then he did what he does best.
He hit from here, and there, and everywhere. He had 35 points and nine rebounds. Afterward, Memphis coach Mike Fratello was asked the key to the game.
"They dressed Nowitzki in a uniform," he said.
That'll do it every time.
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies - dressed as the old Memphis Pros - were clearly taking the whole throwback thing too far.
Gasol was a throwback to three years ago, for example, tentative and uncertain with the ball.
He had 13 points and six turnovers.
"I wasn't confident in my jump shot," he said. "I wasn't sharp at all."
If there's good news for the home team, it's that they still made a game of it. They shot badly (34 percent), got killed on the boards (50-38) and misfired from the line (30 of 45). But they still had a chance to tie it when Eddie Jones shot a three in the final minute.
He missed.
Nowitzki threw his arms in the air.
Alas, let the record show that's all he did.
"We're not going to give them any ammunition," said Armstrong. "We've still got to play them two more times."
