A 'Jedi' for Valuev!
By Alessandro Ferrarini
German promotional firm Sauerland Event just announced a terrific heavyweight clash at a press conference in Berlin. Russian giant Nicolai Valuev (38-0; 29KOs), fresh off a win versus former Olympian Paolo Vidoz, will put his unbeaten record and his WBA-Intl title on the line in Kempten, Germany, on November 20, fighting fellow unbeaten Gerald 'The Jedi' Nobles (24-0; 19KOs) of the USA over twelve rounds. Nobles is somewhat untested at the top level, but he stopped former world champ Bruce Seldon in May this year and can definitely pose a KO threat to the likable Valuev. The Russian contender recently entered the WBA top ten and, according to his promotional team, is having troubles in securing new opponents after his recent good performances.
