Lenard Tears Achilles Tendon, Likely Out for Season
In the 3rd quarter of Tuesday's night loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Voshon Lenard tore his left Achilles tendon, likely ending his season.
Eric Sebastian, the Nuggets' media representative has stated that Lenard will have surgery on Monday, November 8th.
This may force the Nuggets to utilize a big starting lineup, with Carmelo Anthony sliding down to the shooting guard position, and Nene joining Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby in the frontcourt.
Lenard averaged 14 points per game last season for the Nuggets, his first in Denver.
Das wäre natürlich ein Verlust für Denver.Hoffe das jetzt DerMarr Johnson mehr zum Einsatz kommt.
