Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said Bynum would participate in some more half-court, four-on-four scrimmaging.
"He seems to be playing OK in the half court, but we haven't had him run full court yet," Jackson said. "So there's that whole other aspect of the game he has to cover — running, turning around and playing defense. So that's next."
Bynum, who traveled with the team for its two-game trip to Memphis and Houston, played in a half-court game Monday in practice.
He has said he expects to be out for another 21/2 weeks and that he hopes to return to play about Dec. 19, when the Lakers play at Toronto in the last of six consecutive games away from Staples Center.
Naja, was soll man dazu noch sagen.

Another day of practice in Laker Land brings with it, naturally, another update on Andrew Bynum and his knee.
“I feel a lot better, actually,” said Bynum. “Everything has been going well, I haven’t felt too much pain and I’m really progressing.”
Bynum completed his first session of full-contact five-on-five action on Saturday, and came in on Sunday, the team’s off day, to go through a dynamic workout in the weight room focused around quick jumps Bynum said were intended to “get my bounce back.” Monday’s practice featured a lot of running, as well as some contact, and Bynum made it through without any pain or set backs.
“(Bynum) went through every aspect of practice,” said Phil Jackson. “He’s nearing the time we’re going to be very serious about him playing.”
Up next for the Lakers is a Tuesday-Wednesday back-to-back against Washington and the L.A. Clippers, leading into a six-game road trip that begins on Dec. 10 in Chicago and concludes in Toronto on Dec. 19. Though the team hopes to have a fully healthy and ready-to-go Bynum at some point of the trip, the Lakers will continue to operate under a wait-and-see policy until Bynum’s name is on the lineup card.
ESPN schrieb:He has not experienced any swelling or irritation as the intensity of his workouts increases, moving up the time table for his comeback, even if a specific date has yet to be selected.
"It's a little bit ahead of schedule for me," Bynum said. "I was thinking really, really, really late December, maybe even early January, and I think I'm a little bit ahead of schedule.
"I think the surgery went well. I thank my doctor [Dr. David Altchek] for that. He said that I would be OK and I am."
