Im Übrigen wollte ich mal fragen, wo ihr Knicks Spiele sehen könnt außer Premiere oder Live Stream.
Bei bt.davka.info scheinen die Knicks ja nicht allzu oft vorzukommen.
Selbst das letzte Spiel gegen Houston, die eigentlich immer drauf sind, ist auch noch nicht da...

So eine gute Defense des Teams habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen.

Ahhh, grausame Niederlage gegen die Clippers! Am Ende von dem verdammten Cassell und der eigenen Dummheit geschlagen. Crawford Katastrophe, einige der jungen Spieler bekommen gar keine Minuten mehr...
Ich kann mich nicht mehr darüber freuen dass sie eigentlich ganz gut gespielt haben, dass zählt mit so einer Mannschaft nicht mehr.

Was machen wir dann?
Rose hat in den letzten beiden Spielen die meisten Punkte erzielt.
Können sich die beiden einigen, was die Schüsse angeht?
Vielleicht erzielt Rose mit Marburys Assists noch mehr Punkte.
Wer weiß.
Marbury und Rose können nicht miteinander.

Der boxscore der Knicks schaut typisch dafür aus, wenn Jalen Rose der go-to-guy des Teams ist. Warum Eddy Curry so wenig Würfe bekommt, wundert mich immer wieder.

wenn man sich so die zitate von IT durchlese, merkt man indirekt, dass alles, was er macht, nur noch Hilfloses herumrudern ist.
Jetzt will er sogar Stephon Marbury wegtraden, gegen Earl Watson.
Anstatt einen anständigen Shooter oder einen anständigen Defender zu verpflichten, hat IT Watson im Visier, weil er denkt, der wäre das beste, was uns im Moment passieren könnte.
Wenn er Watson verpflichtet, haben wir drei Spieler, die im Prinzip auf PG spielen können.
Überdies finde ich es nicht gut, wenn man, nur um endlich mal einen echten PG ins Team zu bekommen, den besten Spieler des Teams wegtradet.

TORONTO, Feb. 7 — After Antonio Davis finished his first practice as a Raptor on Tuesday, he had some parting words for those who run his former team, the Knicks.
"Larry and Isiah, they need to get on the same page," Davis said of Coach Larry Brown and Isiah Thomas, the Knicks' president. "Is the team going younger or older? What are they doing? Where's the team going?"
Davis was speaking publicly for the first time since Thomas traded him to the Raptors on Friday for the 33-year-old small forward Jalen Rose and for what will probably be a mid-first-round draft pick.
Davis, a 37-year-old forward, said the Knicks' organization was "a mess."
He also said he had been taken aback by his trade to Toronto, where he played for more than four seasons starting in 1999. He has also played in Indiana and Chicago.
Davis said the Knicks had gone to great lengths to coax him to report last fall after acquiring him and Eddy Curry in a trade with Chicago. At the time, Davis, whose family lives in Chicago, was considering retirement.
"I hope they're happy with what they got," he said Tuesday. "They have to be looking out for the best interests of the Knicks, and Antonio Davis has to be looking out for the best interests of Antonio Davis."
Asked if he was holding anything back to avoid further criticizing the Knicks, Davis nodded and smiled.
A Knicks spokesman did not return a telephone call seeking comment.
The trade has been questioned because Knicks officials said they were in a rebuilding mode but ended up acquiring Rose, who is 33 and who is owed $16.9 million next season. Rose's addition could limit playing time for young players like Trevor Ariza and Nate Robinson.
Davis has received considerable attention in recent weeks. He was suspended last month for rushing into the stands in Chicago when he saw his wife involved in a confrontation with a fan.
His wife was charged with misdemeanor battery last week in connection with an October traffic altercation in a Chicago suburb.
Davis said the recent tumult in Knicks management — Thomas has been accused of sexual harassment by one of the team's former front-office employees in a federal lawsuit — had not affected the players.
"It's definitely a circus there, but it's not something players are really too involved with," he said. "You get a few questions about it, but there's really not much more than that. I wouldn't say it's been a distraction."
He said he was pleased to be rejoining Toronto, even though he was jeered in recent seasons when he returned to play.
During his first stint with the Raptors, he demanded that the team trade him. One reason he cited was his concern that his children might receive a poor education in Canadian schools.
"Even if I had left on a good note, there are still going to be people who don't like you and don't like what you stand for," Davis said. "But I can't really worry about that."
Davis said he liked what he had seen from the Raptors in recent weeks. Toronto started the season 1-15, but the Raptors have gone 16-16 since then.
"I feel it's a lot better," he said. "Obviously, this is a young team trying to get somewhere and trying to be competitive each and every night."
Hinting at his unhappiness with the Knicks, Davis said: "I was telling the guys, this was the first time I've got to run up and down and enjoy myself in a long time. It was nice to see some fresh faces and see guys who really cared about playing and listening to their coach, trying to do everything they can to help each other and to win basketball games."

Irgendwie hab ich das dumme Gefühl, dass IT noch irgendeinen dummen Trade vor der Deadline durchzieht. Marbury zum Beispiel sollte man mMn nach halten, aber vor allem nicht krampfhaft versuchen, ihn in einem Earl Watson Deal einzubauen. Und wenn ich lese, dass Mike James, immerhin schon 30, die MLE bekommen soll, dann sehe ich, das überhaupt nicht an die Zukunft gedacht wird, sondern Isiah wirklich denkt, dass nächstes Jahr die Playoffs drin sind. :idiot:

Mike James wird sicherlich von Raptors gehalten, da sich das Bosh wünscht. Aber wahrscheinlich wird Zeke versuchen seinen 2012er 1st round Pick dafür aufzuwenden, damit der 5. oder 6. PG am Roster aufscheint.

Ich denke man sollte diese ganzen Gerüchte derzeit nicht dem management anlasten, da die Deadline kurz bevor steht. Man muss eben auch immer sehen dass New York die Hauptstadt der Printmedien ist und jeder artikel die Auflage steigert.
Ich denke die Knicks werden nichts mehr bewegen vor der Trading deadline. Sie haben ihren Move gemacht und das wars. Rose ist geholt worden um marbury im aufbau zu entlasten, da ihm Brown dass offensichtlich alleine nicht zutraut. Der Deal war ein guter zumal damit ahrscheinlich noch ein mittlerer Firstrounder aus diesem Jahr abfällt. Und machen wir uns nichts vor...Rose nutzt dem Team derzeit wohl mehr als er ihm schadet. Antonio Davis hatte keinen Wert für die Mannschaft, also warum ihn behalten?
Ich glaube auc nicht dass Gay Mart dazu kommt. Der ist so was von chronisch verletzungsanfällig, dass dies selbst den Knicks aufgefallen sein sollte.

Friday's trade of Antonio Davis to the Toronto Raptors for Jalen Rose is another example of Isiah Thomas using a limitless budget to improve his roster without regard to the balance and chemistry of his team.
Since Thomas took over the Knicks in December of 2003, none of his moves have tied together. There is no plan and no format. The addition of Rose comes seventh months after the deal that brought Quentin Richardson from Phoenix. That followed the deal that brought Jamal Crawford from Chicago.
All told, New York now has three shot-happy swingmen who each command a huge salary. And they play next to two shot-happy point guards – Stephon Marbury and Nate Robinson – who are better served playing the two-guard position.
This philosophy of throwing talent together and hoping it works out is apparent on the entire roster. Why sign Jerome James to a big deal and then trade for Eddy Curry? Why trade for Malik Rose and Maurice Taylor when you already have several undersized power forwards on your team? (James, Malik Rose and Taylor rarely play.) And why bring Qyntel Woods aboard when you're trying to develop David Lee and Trevor Ariza? You can't play three young players at the same position at the same time.
The net result is a talented roster that doesn't fit together. The Knicks have a team full of players who don't really have roles. Larry Brown seems to start a different lineup every night, and he struggles to find a rotation of any sort. New York doesn't defend and turns the ball over – two signs of poor communication and a lack of familiarity with each other.
Thomas has done a great job in the draft over the years, both in Toronto and New York. He has put together some impressive young talent. But the unlimited budget he has almost undermines any sort of plan he could be employing. He adds one big-money guy after another to the roster, and meanwhile, his team doesn't develop.
It reminds me of Bob Whitsitt's strategy with the Portland Trail Blazers several years ago when he used Paul Allen's money to put together the most expensive team in the league. Whitsitt's philosophy was to find the 12 most talented players he could find and then let the coach figure out the rest. As the Blazers found out, that plan didn't work very well.
Ironically, the two best teams in the league – San Antonio and Detroit – operate under budgets that have forced each franchise to make prudent personnel decisions over the years. The result has been a stable environment that encourages team development.
The Spurs and Pistons both have built a squad around several stars, adding talent through the draft or from bargain free-agent signings. The thought of trading for Jalen Rose in midseason never enters the minds of either team because they can't afford it. But in the end, both are better off for it. San Antonio and Detroit maintain consistency and balance to their rosters, and that translates to better communication and chemistry on the floor.
Rose's contract runs another season – at a ridiculous $15 million. Davis' deal expires this summer. That's why Toronto made the deal. In other words, the Knicks take on more salary and throw more talent into the equation.
