Ruka wurde nun doch gecancelled, nachdem Anssi heute morgen schon meinte es sähe schlecht aus.

Das Wetter ist allgemein gerade sehr, naja herbstlich mit Wind und Regen. :hmpf:

Zwischendurch hiess es mal, er könnte zum Cup in Vuokatti schon wieder starten. Das haut demnach ja nicht hin, weil der schon am 19.07. ist. Aaach, der Sommer is lang und die SM in Lahti erst im September. Da wird er wohl allerspätestens aufschlagen. Zumal er sich ja wohl hauptsächlich in Lahti aufhält.

Topi Sarparanta as an assistant coach for next season. Kantee back to service person. About physio (or even having one?) they will decide in August. There will also be co-operation with Estonia team both in coaching and service (so I suppose it will mean Estonian team tagged to Finns at least when it comes to services.)

So Vili has been forgiven/emotions have had time to calm down during the summer...

Ex-combi, has been in Japan quite long. Is also a board member of Finnjumping. Coached Finns in Sapporo WC last season. Not totally escapade-free, Pekka's friend I guess (at least has been once thrown to drunk tank in handcuffs together with Pekka)

Jetzt ist er wieder da, wo er vor 4 (?) Jahren schon war. Der Wunderwaxer is back. Aber ich sehe es so, besser wieder das, als arbeits- und gänzlich obdachlos. Die Möglichkeit sich was anderes (besseres?!) zu suchen hat er ja immer. Und ich schätze es ist auch gut fuers Team dass es wenigstens eine feste Konstante gibt, nach den vielen Trainerwechseln ect. Gerade fuer den einen jenigen Welchen wird das wichtig sein.

Who knows? Sarparanta's name have been up also earlier when there has been talk about possible national team coaches, so I guess he is considered suitable. And if the rumours have any truth and there is big opposition against Pekka among Finnish personal and club trainers, it certainly is good that he gets an old friend to assist him. Being a Finland's head coach is lonely job anyway but to be so, when you have a strong opposition can be too stressful for anyone.

By the way, I didn't even remember that bar fight Pekka participate and ended up to drunk tank before I was googling Sarparanta. Apparently it also went to court, but I don't know what the sentence was. I did remember something about Sarparanta had been involved in bar fight earlier and even got a conviction about that, but I didn't have any recollection about the second case, there he and Pekka were fighting with the bouncers (because bouncers didn't let Sarparanta in because he was too drunk or something.) And apparently Sarparanta was less in the condition to fight so it was mainly Pekka against three bouncers. They needed hand cuffs and pepper spray to handle him.

Well anyway, both are old news. First case was early 2000 and second 2005 or something. We can keep our hopes up that they are not running around Europe and starting bar fights in coming season, I think.

Die Tante hat Zeit und kann auf den Posten warten. Fuer nen Cheftrainer ist er ja noch in nem zarten Alter. Von daher ist es wichtig, das er einfach den Fuss in der Tuer lässt. Jedenfalls denk ich das so.
