Report: Jaric under investigation for alleged sexual assault

UPDATE 5:25 p.m. — NBC Philadelphia has learned that there will be no charges filed against the Memphis Grizzlies player (reportedly Marko Jaric) who was accused of a sexual assault. "The allegations lack prosecutorial merit," said the Philadelphia District Attorney's office Friday.
On Thursday, NBC Philadelphia reported that a Memphis Grizzlies player was under investigation for an alleged sexual assault in Philadelphia. Details were pretty sketchy, and that's really all we knew about it. Until now.
Yes, you're not going to believe this — wait, maybe you will, wink-wink — but 30-year-old guard Marko Jaric, new husband of sexy, stinkin' rich supermodel Adriana Lima, is the mystery Grizzlies player under investigation.
Chris Mannix of SI.com reports:
The incident allegedly occurred in February when the Grizzlies were in Philadelphia to play the 76ers.
Jaric is a seven-year NBA veteran who is in his first season with the Grizzlies. Last month Jaric married longtime girlfriend and Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima. [...]
A Grizzlies spokesman had no comment.
