John Kuester set a new low for incompetent coaching in the Pistons' 30-point loss to the Nuggets on Saturday, starting Rodney Stuckey, Tracy McGrady, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, and Greg Monroe for the first time together all season, and unsurprisingly Stuckey responded with no points on four shot attempts with three rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes.
With Charlotte and Indiana in a race to see who can lose the most games, it's insane that Kuester isn't gaining more attention for playing lineup roulette at this stage of the season. In his 10-man rotation, no player played reached the 30-minute mark, nor did they fall below the 20-minute mark. In other words, every one of them is a risk, and in a weekly lineup they're almost unstartable. Season ticket owners in Detroit have to be furious, and Joe Dumars' job should not be safe for allowing this to go on.
