Was ich noch erwähnen wollte:
Sehr geiles Pick-Up.
Simmons, Conroy answer belated calls
UW duo taking hopes to NBA summer leagues

For Washington Huskies stars Tre Simmons and Will Conroy, the disappointment over not being selected Tuesday in the NBA draft must be replaced with vigor in the NBA summer leagues.
Simmons, a 6-foot-5 All-Pac-10 shooting guard, is headed to the Atlanta Hawks' summer-league team with the ambition of making the roster and earning a free-agent contract.
Conroy, the Huskies' career assists leader, takes the same hopes to Los Angeles where he'll compete in the Lakers' summer-league program.
While their college teammate and childhood friend Nate Robinson locked up first-round money Tuesday and celebrated with throngs of family and friends over being picked 21st in the draft, Simmons and Conroy had to look into the eyes of their own audiences and share their disappointment.
Things happened immediately for both players.
Eleven NBA teams contacted Simmons' agents, Aaron and Eric Goodwin. The Goodwins were traveling yesterday, but a representative from their agency said there was "a lot of interest in both (Conroy and Simmons)" Tuesday night and yesterday.
Conroy, a 6-1 point guard, sparkled at the pre-draft camp. He broke the UW season record for assists this past season (219) in addition to setting the career mark (515). He also showed a knack for penetrating and has been heralded for his leadership.
The Lakers did not draft a point guard, opting instead for 7-foot prep star Andrew Bynum, Gonzaga forward Ronny Turiaf and 3-point specialist Von Wafer out of Florida State. Last season, Kobe Bryant led the team in assists (6.0 apg) and scoring (27.6 ppg).
Conroy, who said he felt his best pre-draft workout was with the Lakers, was also considering Seattle and Golden State. But the Goodwins, also serving as his agents, had been talking with L.A. throughout the draft, he said.
"They said they considered taking me (in the draft), but obviously they didn't. They said I was at the top of their free-agent list. I think it's great," Conroy said. "It's a perfect fit."
He leaves for L.A. Tuesday.
