so Männers....hat den schon jemand rausbekommen ob Orlando mit Nelson - Francis im Backcourt starten wird?
 
würde mich als nicht-fan auch interessieren. und vor allem was man mit keyon dooling macht. dafür das er eigentlich nicht zu gebrauchen ist, bekommt er en stattliches gehalt.
 
so wies im mom aussieht wird orlando mit francis als point guard und stevenson auf der 2 starten. stevenson soll sich im sommer enorm verbessert haben, vor allem in der defensive. wahrscheinlich haben sie endlich eingesehem das francis nicht auf der 2 spielen kann, nur was machen sie jetzt mit ihren 4 point guards von denen 3 big minutes spielen wollen?? dazu haben wir nur einen richtigen shooting guard mit deshawn...
man hätte besser antoine wright oder danny granger draften sollen und die mle gar nich benutzt...
 
So erstes Preseason Game überstanden...und gewonnen, 104:93 gegen die Hawks.

Stevenson in der Starting 5 und mit viel Minuten und gutem SPiel. Ich denke das sich dies auch nciht ändern wird.

Ansonsten alles wie gehabt, Francis mit 5 TO und Howard macht da weiter wo er letzte Spielzeit aufgehört hat. Viele TO gesamt, nämlich 19 und nur 16 Assists...is ja noch Zeit.

Gutes Game von Kasun...14 Punkte und 7 Rebounds bei 70% aus dem Feld. Der will an seine gute EM anknüpfen. :jubel:

BTW... 3 der 6 Assists von Francis waren für Howard bestimmt.

Ärgerlich das Nelson wieder so viel geworfen hat. :wall:

Nelson hat gut gespielt und Howard hat die Bretter dominiert wie es sich gehört. Das eintige sind die Freiwürfe, den einen Abend 5-10 den anderen 3-8...

Dooling spielt eine erstaunlich gute Preseason, genau wie Stevenson.

denke es könnte nicht schlecht sein stevenson von der bank zu bringen(mit gleicher minutenanzahl wie nelson)um etwas erfahrung auf guard zu haben.dafür ist der backcourt zwar verdammt klein,das dürfte dwight aber unterm korb ausgleichen können!
 
The Orlando Magic have waived forward Matt Freije and guard Felipe Lopez.

Freije played in one preseason game, tallying two points and one assist in seven minutes. Lopez also appeared in one preseason outing, recording two points, four rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot in six minutes.

Orlando's roster now stands at 17.

So wie es auschaut, plant Hill doch Francis als Starting PG einzusetzen, da Steve-O anscheinend im Sommer nicht nur an den SG-, sondern an den Spielmacher-Eigenschaften gearbeitet hat.

Ich denke, wir müssen uns bis zu Saisonbeginn gedulden, um die Frage geklärt zu bekommen.
 
Niederlage bei den Heat, aber ist ja nur Preseason!

Howard mit 16/11 und 3 steals , aber wieder nur 6-10 von der Freiwurflinie. Dat mutt besser werden mein Jung. Ziel sollten imho minimal 70% sein.

Orlando ohne Francis, Stevenson und Cato, die Heat ohne den Dicken.

Nelson mit toller Quote aus dem Feld, 1-8, dazu 6.Fouls, aber wenigstens 4 Assists in 27 Minuten.

Dooling spielt weiter ne gute Preseason, zwar nur 5-13 aus dem Feld, aber 9-10 von der Linie, dazu 3 reb, 5 ass und 2 steals.

Hill erzielte seine 17 Punkte bereits alle in der 1ten Hälfte.

Aber wieder einmal nur 16 Assists und erneut 18 TO.

Wichtig ist, das MTA morgen geputzt wird, ob mit oder ohne Francis.
 
DeVos transferring ownership of Magic

Rich DeVos attended Wednesday night's preseason game and acknowledged that his days as majority owner of the Orlando Magic are ending.

DeVos confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel that ownership of the team will be transferred to his children and that Bob Vander Weide, his son-in-law and team president, will represent the Magic as their owner.

The family wanted the paperwork on the transfer to be completed this month, but it likely will take until the end of the year.

"We have to start preparing for the next stage in life," DeVos said before the Magic beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 93-79 at TD Waterhouse Centre.

Club sources indicate that DeVos will still have about a 30 percent stake in the team. The second generation -- sons Dick, Doug and Dan and daughter, Cheri -- will have the controlling interest.

Vander Weide, married to Cheri, told the Sentinel last season that the family was interested in looking for minority partners.

Rich DeVos, who turns 80 in March, has not been involved in the day-to-day operations for years, but is kept abreast of significant developments.

"They'll call the old man to tell them what they want to do and I'll probably go along with it," DeVos laughed.

Although the Magic are trying to get a new arena built, or renovate the 16-year-old building, Vander Weide has said he wants the team to be in Orlando "another 20, 25 years."

DeVos looked fit, but conceded that trouble with his left knee is causing him to lose his balance on occasion. His team is having physical issues as well.

Guard Keyon Dooling sat out against Maccabi with a sore tendon in his right foot, an injury he sustained Tuesday night in Miami. Dooling wore a protective boot as a precaution, but doesn't feel it is serious. Forward Grant Hill left in the first quarter after aggravating an abdominal muscle he strained in training camp. He and Dooling will have MRIs today.

Point guard Steve Francis and shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson were back in the lineup after sitting out against the Heat. The Magic received an unexpected surprise when center Kelvin Cato -- who said he wouldn't play until Saturday night -- made an appearance against Maccabi. It was the first action for Cato since last season. He has been recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.

Maccabi, a perennial Euroleague powerhouse from Israel, obviously viewed the game as more than an exhibition. It beat the Toronto Raptors 105-103 on Sunday and raced to a 20-10 lead over the Magic. Despite the loss of Hill, Orlando rallied, turning up its defense behind Bo Outlaw and Terence Morris. Francis led the Magic with 20 points and eight assists. Dwight Howard added 14 points.


Hoffentlich bleiben die Magic solange in Orlando bis Shaq sie dann endgültig kauft. ;)

Francis mit 20 Punkten und 8 Assists, Howard mit 16 und einer Hammer Defense unter Orlando's Korb.

Hedo mit 11 und Hill 10 Punkte.

Stevenson kam auf erstaunlich 9 Rebounds.:eek:

Grant Hill scheint etwas schwerer verletzt zu sein, als das Team es zugeben will. Jedenfalls wird im Umfeld einiges gemunkelt.

Ich bin gespannt wie Brian Hill es schafft, Dwight Howard in die von ihm installierte Princeton-Offense zu integrieren. Dwight sollte schon pro Spiel um die 18 Würfe bekommen meiner Ansicht nach.
