Viel Spass bei Howards Entwicklungsstopp.
soll ich dir verraten was einer deiner lieblingsspieler (vermutlich), nämlich jermaine o´neil dazu sagt :
O'Neal has more than a casual interest in this second season for the Magic's Dwight Howard. In fact, O'Neal sees a lot of himself when he watches Howard play. Only he believes Howard will be better.
Both came directly from high school, although O'Neal struggled early in his career. He was the 17th pick of the 1996 draft by Portland. But in four seasons there, he never averaged more than 4.5 points.
It was only after he was traded to Indiana in 2000 that he emerged as a standout player.
Howard, the No. 1 pick of the 2004 draft, was good as a rookie. O'Neal said that the sooner the Magic hitch their team to Howard, the sooner they will start to win.
"He [Howard] is on his way. He was ready physically the moment he came into the league,'' O'Neal said.
"He's the reason that team will be successful down the road. He's got so much raw talent, but he just doesn't quite know how to use it yet. When he figures it out, the sky is the limit.''
